In August 2024, TikToker Sierra (@granny_sisi) experienced the devastating loss of her husband. He had sadly taken his own life. After his passing, she found out that her husband had been cheating on her.
He had left behind a lot of hard drives and was constantly backing up pictures to his computers, which she considered the mark of a responsible computer user. One day, right before her therapy session, she decided to go through some of the hard drives.
She found pictures of him and his kids and pictures of them when they first started dating. But then, she started seeing pictures of him with other girls.
“So, there’s a picture of me and him going on a date one day, and then the next day—and mind you, these are all date-stamped—and there’s a picture of him with somebody else,” said Sierra. “Not just one girl. Multiple girls.”
He had many folders of other girls and their photos. She had seen email confirmation before that he was possibly talking to other girls, but she had never seen photo proof of it until now.
“Imagine that you’re together with someone for 13 years, and you’re finding pictures of them with somebody else during a time that you thought that you were exclusive, and they’re not even here to answer for themselves,” she said.
She had adored him and really believed that he had been committed to her. They went on to have three children together. Now, she feels stupid for trusting him.
In a follow-up video, she provided some background about their marriage and how they met. She met her husband when she was 19 years old and working as a bank teller.
He was 39 or 40 years old at the time. She was into older guys, but didn’t notice him until he did a really large transaction at the bank one day. He needed $50,000 in cash.

After some flirting, he eventually asked her out, but she missed the signal. So, later, she had to Google his business, got his cell phone number, and texted him.
They started hanging out, and they became exclusive. Nine months later, she got pregnant, and he was thrilled. He already had adult children, but always wanted to have more kids.
When she was 20 weeks pregnant, she stopped hearing from him as much. They would go weeks without contact. When she was around 38 or 39 weeks pregnant, she received a message from a girl at 2 a.m.
Sierra’s boyfriend had been cheating on her with this girl for three months. They had gone on a trip together that weekend, and that was why she couldn’t reach him.
The next morning, she confronted him, and he apologized. They stayed together, and she moved in with him. At the time, his ex-wife and his kids were living with him.
Around Christmas in 2014, she suspected that he was cheating again, so she went through his phone, and of course, he was talking to the girl again.
Overall, he had a long history of cheating, and now, Sierra is left to mourn not only her husband’s passing but also their relationship.
