After TikToker Shea Jones (@thesheajones) recommended that people avoid a certain Pilates studio because of a bad experience with the owner, the owner later publicly harassed her.
Now, she’s using her platform to call out the owner’s horrific behavior. She hopes she can save others from experiencing the same kind of treatment she did.
Once the owner realized Shea had left a negative review about the studio, she launched a smear campaign against Shea. Her actions were extremely disturbing and unprofessional, especially for a business owner.
“What prompted me not to support this studio was because of this comment she made while I was a current client going to her Pilates studio,” explained Shea.
Apparently, the owner called her a vulgar name behind her back and told others that she was weak. After Shea left a bad review, the owner decided to post more than 10 Instagram stories in which she spoke very poorly about Shea.
She tagged Shea in each of her stories and even posted a picture of her.
“But it gets better,” Shea said. “Then, she continues to rage DM me, bragging about her children when I just openly talked about how I had a miscarriage.”
The owner also used her Pilates studio’s social media account to harass Shea. At the end of the day, she is ruining her reputation and her business.
Clearly, there is a reason why her studio has so many negative reviews. The owner’s unseemly behavior has just been proving the reviews right.

Shea feels bad for the amazing Pilates instructors who work at the studio because they had nothing to do with this feud, but would most likely be negatively impacted by it.
The studio has locations in Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton.
In the comments section, several TikTok users agreed with Shea and described their own off-putting encounters with this studio owner.
“She gives the worst mean girl energy during her classes, which is why I went once and never went back. But wow, this is on another level,” commented one user.
“I went a few times and took her class one time. I got such bad vibes from her, and then I started hearing about all these girls who have been harassed and treated horribly, so I’ll never go back, even though I liked the other instructors,” declared another.
“I’m so sorry you had to go through this. At my previous job, I reached out to her, offering complimentary appointments for her and her GM. The GM was super nice, but the owner rescheduled twice and then never ended up coming. My boss found it super rude,” added someone else.
