To this day, TikToker @biggrizz.tv has no idea what happened to his childhood best friend. He believes that he was disappeared by the government.
His childhood best friend’s name was Newman, and he was a genius. He could do ninth-grade-level math equations when he was in the third grade.
“If you knew Newman, he had a talent of, when his anxiety would come up, he would eat erasers,” said @biggrizz.tv. “[Newman and I] bonded when we were kids because we were in this program. We were told it was ESL. Come to find out later, it was the GATE program.”
They never did any English lessons in the program. All they did was play games involving numbers and wear big, clunky headphones.
Eventually, Newman moved to a different school about half an hour away. They stayed friends until the eighth grade. After that, they headed off in different directions.
One day, he received a random call from Newman. He hadn’t heard from Newman in four years by that point. Newman asked him to come visit him at the psych ward in Royal Columbian Hospital in British Columbia.
“Naturally, this is one of my best friends growing up, so I went down to see him,” said @biggrizz.tv.
“And when I went to see him, I had the weirdest feeling like I was being watched the entire time. Even when I went to the reception desk to ask for him, the guy I talked to seemed weirded out that I was going to see him.”
Newman told him that he had been conducting super-secret science experiments for a government agency and came up with an equation that had something to do with quantum reality.

TikToker @biggrizz.tv just listened to him and then asked why he was sent to the psych ward. Newman stated that he had been asking too many questions.
He hadn’t had any contact with his parents or siblings, but he remembered @biggrizz.tv’s phone number. He wrote down an equation on a piece of paper for him.
Unfortunately, @biggrizz.tv does not know what happened to that piece of paper. For years, he has searched the internet for any trace of Newman, but he can’t find a single social media account with Newman’s name or any record of his family.
Another genius friend of his, who is doing research at a prestigious university in Vancouver, might have recently stumbled upon information that the government doesn’t want him to know because his life has gotten very weird, very quickly.
The situation reminds @biggrizz.tv of Newman. Now, he’s worried about the safety of gifted people.
Many TikTok users shared their own stories about friends and loved ones mysteriously dying or disappearing.
“My brother was a naturally gifted guitarist who played by ear and earned nothing below a 4.0 all throughout school. Before he died, he told me discovered something that I would not have comprehended at the time and was dangerous to know,” commented one user.
“I have a friend in Vancouver who was taken to a research lab as a child because he predicted a major event. He was never able to live inside afterward and stayed homeless,” wrote another.
“They did it to my brother, except they had it look like it was self-defense. The shooter had no ties to my brother. He was on a public sidewalk, unarmed, and was shot point-blank. The guy was let out, the case turned into homicide, but then they closed it on us with no explanation and without notifying us,” added a third.
