You never know what your day might look like when you’re a private investigator. TikToker @that70sspy had a client who moved from New York. He was a private nurse for a very well-off family.
According to him, something happened that made him decide he no longer wanted to work for the family. Apparently, the family did not support his decision to leave. Soon after, he got the sense that he was constantly being followed and stalked.
One night, he was walking home when someone jumped him and supposedly broke his arm. He assumed that the family was hiring people to follow him.
So, he moved away, but now he believes that they have tracked him down. He had bought a new phone and hadn’t even been in the area for long, but they somehow located him anyway.
“We hooked him up with a phone that was like a burner phone, and basically, for two weeks, I escorted him,” said @that70sspy.
“I followed him to work and home. Each day, I would get up at 4:30 in the morning, be there before the sun, and I would follow him to work, and I would go back, and I would follow him home.”
He was paranoid, always thinking that a black SUV was following him around. This arrangement lasted for two weeks. One morning, he pulled into the parking lot of the hospital where he worked and told her over the phone that there was a BMW waiting for him by the front doors.
He decided to leave the parking lot. The BMW started trailing him, so @that70sspy got behind it. The three of them were driving in a line down the road. Her client turned into an empty church parking lot, and sure enough, the BMW followed.
She grabbed her camera and took pictures of the BMW’s license plate. As they went around the church parking lot, her client made a right turn onto the main street while the BMW went left.

She followed the BMW, which pulled into the hospital parking lot again. Her client went to the police station. She met him there, and they both gave their statements.
The police headed to the hospital parking lot to find the guy in the BMW. It turned out that there was a warrant for his arrest. Her client knew that he needed to move away again.
“We definitely kind of did what we could to help him, you know?” said @that70sspy.
“All we did was offer proof that something shady is happening. I don’t really know what he did with the evidence, but he did move out of state again, and I haven’t heard from him.”
She had thought it was possible that this guy was having some mental health issues, but he was actually being stalked. A week later, his sister called, asking if it was true.
She confirmed that it was really happening. She’s glad that she was at least able to provide proof to his family.
