Her Husband Passed Away, And Then She Found Evidence Of His Hidden Life While Cleaning Out Their Shed

According to TikToker @liteskinkilla, a woman spilled her late husband's 40-year-old secret. This woman's husband had recently died, and they had been married for 40 years.

He had been sick for a while, so his death was not surprising. He passed at home, where he could be comfortable. A year and a half later, the woman was still grieving her late husband.

She couldn't bring herself to get rid of the things in his "man cave." His clothes were still hanging in the closet, and his cigarettes were still in the ashtray.

There was also a shed out back where he kept his tools. Her children encouraged her to start slowly packing up some stuff to get it out of the house because everything was a constant reminder of her late husband, and it was making her depressed.

"So, she said she started off in the man cave because there were just certain things that she wanted to do to transform that particular room," narrated @liteskinkilla.

"But she couldn't bring herself to clean out the shed. Now, her kids were putting more pressure on her to clean out the shed because...they're saying the stuff in the shed is more of a reminder of dad."

The woman had three sons and one daughter. Her sons wanted some of the tools in the shed, so they came over to help clean it out. It took about two weeks to clean up the whole shed.

When her sons were done, she decided to go into the shed, thinking it was empty. However, she found a box in the back of the shed. Assuming it was a box of tools, she opened it up to take a look.

Instead, she found piles of letters and pictures of her husband when he was in his twenties. Her husband had been having a secret affair with a man the whole time they were married.

The woman felt like her entire marriage was a lie. She has so many unanswered questions. It was also unclear when the affair finally ended. Now, she's thinking about trying to find the man her husband had been involved with to try to get some answers.

In the comments section, several TikTok users shared what they would do if they ever found themselves in a similar situation.

"I would try to find the lover. I'd just want to know about my husband's whole life. Not out of anger, and if they were together that long, it may also help him grieve to share memories," pointed out one user.
