According to TikToker Ashley (@ashkatpod), her mom has always been very male-centered. While her mom was married, she started having an affair with a married man. She worked at the gas station and loved it there because male customers would come in and hit on her all the time.
One day, a man named Robert walked in, and they really hit it off. Robert kept finding excuses to go to the gas station to see Ashley’s mom. They flirted for weeks.
“And then, it got to the point where he wasn’t even coming to the gas station making excuses anymore,” said Ashley.
“He would just come to the gas station to see my mom, and you know, eventually, they do let each other know that they’re both married, but it gets so serious that they actually start telling each other they love each other.”
Her mom would call and vent to her about Robert, which was exhausting to hear. Ashley told her mom that this relationship was not okay.
She was still sleeping with her husband, and Ashley had a feeling that Robert was still sleeping with his wife.
Robert tried to prove that he was not sleeping with his wife and that he hadn’t been for a long time. He had installed cameras in every single room of his house.
He gave Ashley’s mom the password to his security system, so she could watch what was going on in his household in real time. She watched Robert’s wife do the dishes and criticized how dirty the house was.
“My mom was obsessed,” said Ashley. “She watched this woman every single day, and mind you, my mom FaceTimed him around me, too, so she introduced me to this man. And I knew right off the bat this man was arrogant.”

Robert and her mom started making plans to run away to North Carolina together and leave their spouses. They ended up moving into a run-down apartment in North Carolina, and almost immediately, issues began popping up in their relationship.
It was a small, cramped apartment, so they were confined in a tight space, which they were not used to.
Not even a month later, Robert went back to his wife and told her about everything: the affair, the apartment, and all the dirt on Ashley’s mom.
So, Robert’s wife and Ashley’s mom started fighting over social media. Ashley’s mom revealed that she had been watching Robert’s wife.
Of course, Ashley’s mom had to move back in with her husband, who welcomed her with open arms. Three days after moving back in, he got a tattoo of her face on his arm.
Everyone moved on with their lives. Robert is still with his wife, and Ashley’s mom is with her husband.
