According to TikToker Blair Bishop (@blairbishopp), her mom responded to her friend’s betrayal in the most chaotic way imaginable: by marrying her friend’s dad for revenge.
When her mom was 19 years old, she was in college and was part of a sorority. She was dating a tall, handsome guy named Charles.
They had been seriously dating for about two months when she discovered that Charles was cheating on her. A sorority sister revealed that another sorority sister had been hooking up with Charles behind her back.
Blair’s mom went to Charles’ house with a strategy up her sleeve. She told him that she knew everything, even about the baby (there was no baby involved).
But of course, Charles fell for the bait and admitted to cheating when he blurted out that the other girl hadn’t told him that she was pregnant.
The other girl was named Jessica. Blair’s mom and Jessica had been in the same sorority for about a year. They slept 10 feet away from each other.
Jessica’s favorite thing to do was to drink on the weekends and then tell her business to anyone who would listen. At the time, Jessica’s parents were getting divorced because her mom was cheating on her dad.
Blair’s mom broke things off with Charles. She decided not to say anything to Jessica because she would probably get kicked out of the sorority for starting drama.
Instead, she played nice and acted as if nothing had happened. Meanwhile, she was secretly formulating a plan for revenge.

“My mom befriends Jessica, and she says that it was too easy because apparently Jessica had slept with quite a few of the sorority’s boyfriends and was not well-liked in the house,” said Blair.
“My mom says that, excluding all of the homewrecking, Jessica wasn’t actually that bad of a friend. They would study together; they would go out together. But through all of this, Jessica never admitted to my mom that she had been sleeping with her boyfriend, which only made my mom more mad.”
One day, Jessica invited Blair’s mom on a family vacation with her dad’s side of the family. That was when Blair’s mom put her plan into action.
Her original plan had been to go for Jessica’s brother, but when she saw Jessica’s dad, she changed her mind.
During the trip, Jessica and her dad, Brad, got into a huge screaming match. After the fight, Blair’s mom went to comfort Jessica. Later, she found Brad alone and started chatting him up.
She told Brad that Jessica had slept with her boyfriend behind her back. He was not surprised that his daughter had done such a thing.
They ended up talking all night. By the end of the trip, they were getting along really well and commiserating over Jessica’s behavior.
They decided to go to the courthouse to get married once they returned home from vacation.
“They get married, and they do it just to rub it in Jessica’s face,” said Blair.
“My mom and Brad both understand that it’s probably not a lasting marriage, but they both are so mad at Jessica that they’re like, we need to do this to rub it in her face.”
Brad is not Blair’s father. Ultimately, the marriage only lasted a couple of weeks before being annulled. Longevity was never the point. They had been staging a petty revenge mission to teach one girl a lesson.
