She Uninvited Her Brother From Her Wedding Because Her Brother Revealed He Is In Love With Her Fiancé
This young woman is about to marry her fiancé in just one week. But, her fiancé just so happens to be her brother’s best friend– which has caused some serious drama to escalate over the past few months.
Of course, her relationship with her brother’s best friend started when they simply began dating. And after she told her brother about their budding romance, he was reportedly excited for her.
“My brother was happy that his best friend and his favorite sibling were together,” she recalled.
But, after she and her fiancé eventually got engaged, her brother completely changed his tune. Out of nowhere, he became sour about their relationship, and he never even congratulated her on the engagement.
Then, throughout the whole wedding planning process, her brother kept making negative comments. At that point, though, he also started adding in “jokes” about how she is going to be a terrible wife and how her fiancé should just run away while he still has the chance.
“My family and my partner all acted as if he was just joking,” she noted.
And even though she had no clue why her brother was being so weird about her wedding, she never expected what was going to happen next.
About two weeks ago– when her wedding was only three weeks away– her brother randomly asked her to go over to his place by herself. Then, once she got there, her brother demanded that she cancel the wedding immediately.
She was, of course, really confused and asked the obvious question– why? Still, her brother just kept insisting that she cancel the event without giving her a solid reason.

So, at that point, she understandably started to become pretty worried. She began to believe that perhaps her brother knew something damning about her fiancé that her brother was just trying to protect her from.
Even after she proposed that idea to her brother, though, she still got shut down and told that was not the reason.
Anyway, she decided to lighten the mood with a joke and teased her brother by saying it sounded like he was in love with his best friend. And to her total surprise, her brother admitted that he really was in love with her fiancé.
“I was taken aback and did not know what to say. So, I just told him he was uninvited from the wedding and left,” she recalled.
And since that night, both her own family and her fiancé’s family have found out her brother was uninvited. She did not want to tell everyone about her brother’s business, though, so she just said he was uninvited because he insulted her.
But then, everyone just thought that she was being totally overdramatic and assumed she would get over the “insult” before the wedding.
Now, though, the wedding is only one week away, and her brother is still uninvited. And no one, including her fiancé, understands why.
In fact, her fiancé keeps calling her ridiculous and pressuring her to call her brother and sort it out since, apparently, her brother is also her fiancé’s best man.
On top of that, her family has begun to call her immature for not getting over whatever “insult” her brother said.
So, she has been left in a seriously sticky situation, and she has no idea how to navigate it.
“I am so conflicted. I would never get with someone my siblings have romantic feelings for, but now it’s too late. I love my fiancé, we have a life together, and we are planning our future. I can’t just cancel it all,” she explained.
Plus, she also claims outing her brother to everyone would be horrible and that she would never do that.
Don’t get me wrong– she believes that both her fiancé and her family would not care about her brother being gay in the slightest and would actually be very accepting. But she knows that her brother’s decision to come out is not hers to make.
And amidst all of this conflict, she has just felt really guilty about uninviting her brother from the wedding.
So, she has been left wondering if she should just let her brother attend the wedding and be miserable during the entire event. Or if it would be best to continue seeming like the jerk to the rest of her family and save her brother’s feelings by not allowing him to go to the ceremony.
