Her Parents Always Favor Her Older Sister’s Children, So After It Happened Again This Year With Christmas Presents, Her Husband Went Out And Bought Thousands Of Dollars Worth Of Extra Gifts For Her Niece, Who Was Left Out
This thirty-year-old woman has two older siblings– a sister who is thirty-nine and a brother who is thirty-four. However, she claims that while growing up, her older sister was totally spoiled.
Apparently, her parents would make sure that her sister got everything she wanted– even if that meant that she and her brother felt pretty forgotten about.
For instance, both she and her brother would be forced to split both their birthday and Christmas money with her older sister. That way, her sister did not feel “left out”– even though her sister was never required to share anything with them.
Her sister was also allowed to participate in multiple dance classes every single week. At the same time, she and her brother were forced to drop out of their sports since her parents claimed they could not afford it.
“For Christmas, my brother and I would get new, unbranded clothes and books while my sister was gifted mobile phones, MP3 players, Playstations, designer clothes, and handbags,” she added.
Plus, this unequal treatment has even continued into adulthood. Now, though, it has to do with her brother and sister’s kids.
Her sister has since had two sons– who are sixteen and fourteen-years-old. And for her nephews’ birthdays and on Christmas, her parents will gift them hundreds of dollars worth of items. She and her brother’s kids, though, are only gifted one small toy or two every single year.
Now, her mother has apparently attempted to excuse away these gift disparities by pointing out how her older sister is a single parent who is also struggling financially. On the flip side, her husband comes from a wealthy family, and her brother at least has a wife.
And even though she and her brother kind of understood that, they still asked their parents if they could at least give her nephews their larger gifts separately. That way, the other grandchildren would not have their feelings hurt.

For whatever reason, though, her parents declined to do that and have continued to favor her older sister’s kids in front of everyone else.
So, for this Christmas Eve, she and her brother honestly were not planning to go to her parent’s house to celebrate.
And when her mother asked why, she was honest– reiterating the gift situation, as well as pointing out how the only thing her parents ever talked about was her older sister and her nephews.
During that conversation, though, her mother did reportedly promise that would not happen again this year. So, she and her brother decided to give her parents one last chance.
And after arriving at her parent’s house on Christmas Eve, things were going smoothly at first. Well, that was until it came time to unwrap presents.
Apparently, her husband had to work that day– so he was going to show up a bit later and bring everyone’s presents with him. At the time, though, her brother, sister, and parents still decided to hand out their gifts beforehand.
Afterward, her mother then disappeared toward the end of the gift exchange before coming back with “special” presents for her older sister’s children. Shocker.
First, her sixteen-year-old nephew received a brand-new iPhone. Then, her thirteen-year-old nephew got a new iPad. Both boys received some other gift cards, too.
Thankfully, she claims that her kids were not particularly hurt by the extra gifts given to her nephews. However, she did notice that her fourteen-year-old niece, Evelyn, was pretty upset.
Rather than being sympathetic or even just ignoring it, though, her sixteen-year-old nephew actually decided to say something to Evelyn. In fact, he told Evelyn to “stop being a baby” and just appreciate that she got a gift at all. Then, her thirteen-year-old nephew and her older sister both laughed at that.
So, she was understandably pissed off by that and decided to text her husband for help. More specifically, she told him about what happened, asked him if he could stop at the store to pick up something extra for Evelyn, and figured that he would just purchase an extra gift card or something.
Well, her husband completely shocked her after he pulled out all of the stops for her niece.
“He came in with a new Macbook Pro, iPhone 14, iPad and pencil, PS5, a big Lego kit, and several gift cards worth over a thousand dollars,” she recalled.
And as you can imagine, her niece Evelyn was beyond stoked. Then, her husband gave her older sister’s kids– her nephews– their gifts. The boy receives some designer shoes they had been wanting, as well as fifty dollars in cash.
Afterward, though, her nephews had the nerve to ask where the rest of their gifts were. But that gave her husband the perfect opportunity to tell them that they should just be grateful for the gifts they received.
And if you could not have guessed it, that completely enraged her sister. In fact, her sister apparently “went off” about how everyone should be treated equally and how her nephews were being left out. Her sister also tried to claim that the boys needed brand-new computers and PS5s, too.
Her brother was on her side, though, and was not going to stand for their older sister’s delusion any longer, either. So, he also opted to chime in and ask, “Like how mom has always treated everyone equally?” Yikes!
This resulted in her mom busting into tears and admitting to acting wrongly in the past. Still, though, her mom tried to claim that Christmas was not the time nor place to have that discussion, and she and her brother got accused of ruining the holiday.
But, her husband decided to swoop into the rescue yet again and announced that they would be leaving.
Plus, her husband also invited her brother, sister-in-law, and Evelyn to her in-law’s house the following day for Christmas lunch.
Well, her brother and his family ended up taking her husband’s offer and showed up on Christmas. And to their shock, her brother’s family was gifted an all-expenses-paid trip to Disneyland, along with even more spending money.
So, as you can imagine, she and her husband, along with her brother and his family, all had a fantastic Christmas day together. Talk about a good dose of karma!
Afterward, though, her sister found out about what her in-laws gifted her brother and his kids. And now, her sister has since begun demanding that her husband foot the bill for another Disneyland vacation for her nephews!
But, despite honestly feeling like her sister and parents finally got what they deserved, she has still been left wondering if not giving her nephews expensive presents, too, made her a jerk like her parents had been all those years.
