She Went On A Date With A Guy Who Said She Was Getting Old, So She Should Hurry To Finish Her Tattoos

Sometimes, it may appear that you have a lot in common with someone on a first date, but you still wind up clashing. TikToker Sam (@samflymusic) is a singer and artist manager based in Nashville.

She recently shared her experience on a first date that quickly turned into a crash course on how not to talk to women, thanks to one inappropriate comment about her age.

The other night, she went on a first date with a 33-year-old guy she met on a dating app. They hadn't chatted much before the date because she would rather just meet him in person instead of wasting time texting back and forth.

At first, things seemed fine. They were having their second drinks when she commented on his tattoos. He was wearing a T-shirt and his arms were covered in ink.

He noticed that she had a half-sleeve and asked if she planned on finishing it.

She told him that she wasn't in a rush, but he retorted that she was getting old and that it wouldn't make sense to do it at 40 years old. When Sam didn't look too pleased, he tried to backtrack and say he was joking.

Sam tried to change the subject so they could move on, but after about 30 seconds, she couldn't take it anymore. Things were just too awkward at that point. So, she shut down the date.

She declared that she no longer wanted to continue the date and suggested that he never call another woman old again. To keep it classy, she even offered to send him money for the drinks.

Then, she left without any regrets and her dignity fully intact. Why waste a whole evening entertaining someone who throws around digs about your age as banter?

Her exit was empowering and iconic. She cut a bad date short and turned it into content instead of suffering through it out of politeness. The lesson here is to set boundaries and know your worth.

Too many of these stories tend to end with the woman sticking around even though she feels uncomfortable, only for the date to get worse.
