At the beginning of her senior year of high school, TikToker Kendall (@kendawg.p) started talking to a boy she went to middle school with.
They were not friends and did not know each other well. One day, he started messaging her for some reason, and he ended up asking her out on a mini golf date.
However, he told her that she needed to pick him up because he had crashed into a pole and totaled his car. They planned to get burgers and then play mini golf.
When she arrived at his house, a bunch of his friends were there. He introduced her to them, but left her alone with them to go close the garage.
They left through the front door, which forced her to walk into his house and meet his entire family. Finally, they went on their way to the burger restaurant.
They made small talk during the drive, and when they got to the parking lot, he told her to finish the story she was telling before they got out of the car.
She was nervous and a little awkward. He looked at her and commanded her to make eye contact with him while she spoke. It was really weird.
As they were walking up to the restaurant, he put his arm around her waist and hugged her. They got their food and sat down on some benches outside the restaurant, where he proceeded to press up against her.
He kept staring at her while she was trying to eat. At one point, he decided to scroll through her social media page and zoom in on the photos she had posted. Once they were done eating, they headed back to her car to drive to the mini golf place.

That’s when he announced that he made music on Soundcloud and asked if she wanted to hear one of his songs. Obviously, she did not want to listen to his music, but said yes to be polite.
At the mini golf parking lot, he played a song he had made and started rapping to it. Then, he told her to pretend that he wrote this song for her, and not his ex.
When they got out of the car, he refused to let her bring her own jacket and gave her his to wear instead. He also randomly kissed her. Afterward, he told her that she had a mustache.
When they were done with mini golf, he wanted to go to a park. It turned out to be a hiking trail up a mountain, so now, they were walking up a mountain in the dark. They ended up kissing, and he wanted to go further, but she told him that it was getting late and she had to go home.
She dropped him off, and over the next couple of days, he kept texting her, asking why she wasn’t responding. She informed him that she wasn’t interested in dating him. He asked if they could be friends with benefits instead, to which she rolled her eyes.
Four years later, he messaged her again to “rekindle what they had.” The next year, he did it again, even after she rejected him. A few months ago, he reached out to her once more.
Her story prompted several TikTok users to chime in with their most unhinged dating experiences from their high school days in the comments section.
“A guy I worked with at McDonald’s did the same thing to me with a song!! He asked if I wanted to hear his music (and I didn’t, but said yes) and so he turns on the beat and then raps right to my face in the McDonald’s parking lot. I would’ve rather been dead, but I was also like 17, so I just sat through it,” commented one user.
“My 16-year-old daughter went on a date with this guy who had been asking her for a while. He took her to the dumpster behind our local mall. That was the destination, nothing else,” shared another.
“I dated someone for a weekend. I called one of my girlfriends baby, and he started crying because it’d been a day since I called him baby. Monday at school, I texted him that I’m breaking up with him, and he tried to tell me no we’re not. I said, yes we are. I’m pretty sure he’s dead now, idk how or why,” wrote a third.
