When TikToker Dav (@davinbrunson) looks back at his elementary school days, he remembers being both feared and respected. In elementary school, he started an anti-bullying protection service.

He charged his classmates $20 to protect them from bullies for a week. If a bully messed with any of his clients, he would beat the bully up and make sure they never messed with them again.

Business was surprisingly good. One time, he received $100 from a kid to protect him for the rest of the school year. Dav spent that $100 the same day on candy and toys.

He even bought a food bag from someone for $20. Food bags were given to underprivileged kids on Fridays so they had something to eat through the weekend.

At recess, he confronted the bully of the kid who had given him $100. Dav gave the bully two options: they could fight, or the bully could pay him more money than his client.

The bully didn’t have any money, so Dav resorted to slapping him, sending him a very clear message about who was in charge. Dav was actually friends with this guy, but his loyalty only ran so deep in the face of $100.

In elementary school, Dav was known as the kid who was fighting people all the time. When a new student came to the school and started talking trash about Dav’s grandma, Dav had to take matters into his own hands.

His grandma had passed away the week before, so he beat the kid up and broke his nose. He ended up getting suspended and had to apologize to the kid in the principal’s office. The kid was scared to get close to Dav.

As someone who ran an anti-bullying protection service in the 2nd grade, Dav is definitely not someone you wanted to cross, both then and now.

Many TikTok users were both amused and impressed by how business-savvy he was in childhood.

“My brother did this in middle school. My gym teacher gave me so much grace because of him,” commented one user.

“We need more people like you. I should’ve done this. I was defending people for free. Could’ve been getting some money the whole time,” stated another.

“Honestly, the coolest thing anyone could have ever done in elementary school,” added a third.
