For years, a lady had been coming into the salon that TikToker @sunnyjess_79 owns to get hair extensions. She has spent thousands of dollars on extensions there. She ended up leaving the salon and following another stylist.
When that stylist stopped doing hair, the lady went to another salon. In between her appointments, she came back to the salon where TikToker @sunnyjess_79 works to get new extensions and color.
She wasn’t there on the day the lady came in, but one of the stylists later told her that the lady smelled awful.
They had to open the windows, spray air freshener, and light a scented candle. However, those methods did not make a dent in the stench.
TikToker @sunnyjess_79 remembered that this client always smelled like Tootsie Rolls or Whoppers, according to the stylist who usually did her hair. So, they ordered the extensions, and the lady came in for another appointment.
“I came in that day just to see if it really did smell that bad,” TikToker @sunnyjess_79 recalled. “So I walked in the back door, and it did. It smelled horrendous. All the windows were up, candles, air freshener, all the things, and it smelled terrible.”
This lady was a homeowner and had the means to buy thousands of dollars of hair extensions, so she could definitely afford to keep up on basic self-care and hygiene. They tried to detox her hair extensions to make them smell better, but nothing worked.
TikToker @sunnyjess_79 had to send her an email, saying that they could no longer serve her at their salon and that she would receive a refund for the extensions she had purchased.
She never responded to the email. In fact, she called the salon to make another appointment. TikToker @sunnyjess_79 then sent her a letter in the mail. They never heard from her again.

“Fast forward a year later, this lady has been arrested for animal cruelty, 50 dogs in her home, and I don’t know how many cats, but disgusting,” TikToker @sunnyjess_79 stated.
“Like people said, you could smell the stench from outside of the home, which I could imagine because the lady smelled terrible.”
It was the craziest thing she had ever had to deal with in 24 years of owning a salon. Several people took to the comments section to share their experiences with the lady and others like her.
“I’m allergic to dogs, so needless to say, doing her hair (the couple times I did) was a literal health hazard. I couldn’t stop sneezing long enough to finish the extensions,” stated one of the stylists.
“Omg, this was literally in my neighborhood and me and my friends would walk past the house, and there were stacks of Chewy boxes in their garage, and nobody would come out. No wonder their house was so silent, and no one was present there. Can’t believe even she herself smelled that bad,” commented a neighbor.
“I’m in home health, and we have many patients who live like this with animals. You can definitely smell the inside of their house before you get inside,” wrote another person.
