When the Dashleys (@thedashleys) put their 8-year-old son, George, in charge of the day, he didn’t ask for a trip to the arcade or a movie marathon.

Instead, George immediately came up with a very specific request. He instructed his father to order a bunch of different pizzas and wrap a blindfold around his eyes so he could taste each pizza and guess what restaurant they came from without looking at the box.

So, they bought five pizzas for George to taste test while blindfolded and posted the whole challenge on TikTok.

George picked up a slice from the first pizza, which was from Olive Garden, and felt the crust before taking a bite. Then, he guessed that the pizza was from Olive Garden.

When his parents presented the second pizza to him, he could immediately recognize the smell. He felt the size of the slice, determining that it was rather long and “pointy at the top.” Based on the feel of the pizza slice, he correctly guessed that it was from Domino’s before even tasting it.

Next up was a pizza from Pizza Hut. George touched the slice with both hands, waved it around like he was checking in with the pizza gods, and took a large bite. He declared it was from Pizza Hut while both his parents chuckled in the background.

When his mom handed him the next slice, he immediately suspected it was from Little Caesars. Once he tried some, he was able to confirm that he was right.

For the final pizza, he thoughtfully fiddled with the slice again and ate a bit of it. He was not 100 percent sure, but he believed it was from Papa John’s. Somehow, he was correct once again.

By the end of the tasting, George had gone five-for-five. His parents were super impressed with his tasting abilities, stating that he could “read pizza better than words” and was a certified “pizza genius.” Overall, George’s favorite pizza was from Domino’s.

The kid’s got skills that could put a seasoned food critic to shame. Clearly, he knows exactly what he’s dealing with.

“Now throw him some curves. Get [him] gas station, Costco pizza, and a department store pizza. Lol,” one person commented on the video.

“Ok, this is actually precious, and I love that you actually did what he wanted. You’re hilarious, George!” someone else exclaimed.

“This is insanely adorable..Love that you gave him this gift of autonomy, and love how he came up with such a fun game. And mostly love his giggle,” another person added.

Don’t you think a blindfolded pizza taste test sounds like a great way to spend this upcoming Friday night? Because that’s what I’ll be doing as soon as the weekend starts!
