Some men claim to be single, but somehow the situation feels sketchy, like maybe there’s another woman lurking somewhere. TikToker Taylor Watson (@taylormakesvideos) just proved that sometimes the other woman isn’t just still in the picture. She might actually be living in the house!
The other night, Taylor’s sister was out to dinner with this guy she had been dating for a little while, and things seemed to be progressing naturally.
They talked about their feelings for each other and moving the relationship forward. The conversation went well. But on the way home from dinner, he revealed that his ex-girlfriend was living with him.
He reassured her that nothing was going on between him and his ex. When they arrived at his place, she asked him if he wanted her to come inside. He insisted that she come in. He had practically begged her to come over the night before.
For whatever reason, he was very determined to spend time with her. So, against her better judgment, they headed to his bedroom and lay down to watch a movie together. The calm didn’t last long.
All of a sudden, his ex calmly walked in, grabbed her pillows off the bed, and told them to have fun as she turned and left the room. That’s when Taylor’s sister found out that he wasn’t nearly as unattached as he claimed. She was stunned, and rightfully so.
She asked him point-blank if his ex had slept in the bed with him the night before. He was quiet for a moment and admitted that they had slept together “only partially.” And while they were supposedly broken up, they had also continued hooking up.
Taylor’s sister left immediately and didn’t look back at that train wreck of a living situation. Later, she sent him the most savage text. She wrote, “What you did was really disgusting, and I hope you figure it out, but leave me out of your redemption arc.”
The lesson here is that when a man says it’s over with his ex, make sure he doesn’t mean she’s right down the hall, grabbing her pillows.

In the end, Taylor’s sister didn’t just dodge a bullet. She managed to avoid an entire emotional war zone with her swift and classy exit, saving herself from plenty of grief, confusion, and heartache.
There should be no universe in which someone has to compete with an ex who is still sharing a roof and a bed. Most importantly, her story serves as a reminder to know your worth and to have the courage to walk away when someone tries to drag you into their chaos.
Protect your peace by maintaining your standards, and don’t accept the bare minimum.
