After going through her husband's phone, TikToker Taylor (@taylor.jones.denver) is now divorcing him. For the last few months, she and her husband had been having a lot of issues.
They were distant and even sleeping in separate bedrooms. They were essentially living like roommates.
One night, she got this incredibly strong gut feeling to look through his phone. She asked him if that was okay, and he agreed. But when he went to get his phone, it was dead. He suddenly also got super quiet after he said yes.
She asked him to charge his phone, but he changed his tune and told her not to look at it, because she wouldn't be happy with what she might see.
At that point, she demanded to see his phone. He was reluctant to hand it over, and when he finally did, she went upstairs to the bedroom, plugged it into the charger, and locked the door.
She found out that while he was going out to the bars with his friends, he was giving out his phone number to other girls and telling them that he was single.
"My husband has a tattoo of our initials on his ring finger, so even when he's not wearing his wedding ring, if you're paying attention, it's pretty obvious that he's a married man," said Taylor.
He even went over to his single female coworker's house one night. She didn't know that he was married. So now, after a decade of marriage, Taylor is divorcing her husband.
She hadn't expected to get divorced in the new year, but he has clearly been unfaithful, so she is left with no choice.

"Even though we've had a really great relationship and he makes me very happy most of the time, I'm not going to choose to stay with someone who treats me that way, who goes off and disrespects me like that after 10 years," Taylor declared.
She also warned any wives or girlfriends out there not to go through their partner's phones unless they are ready to take action; otherwise, the only thing you're accomplishing is hurting your own feelings.
Many TikTok users applauded Taylor for putting herself first and leaving right away, while others shared similar stories about their own cheating partners.
"I went through my ex's (of 10 years) phone and saw him trying to cheat on me and failing. I was so embarrassed. I left so fast," commented one user.
"I found texts to his coworkers telling them I died in childbirth and he was raising our newborn and toddler on his own," stated another.
"Yup. This happened to me this year already, too. Full-blown emotional affair for nine months. We were together for 12 years. Based solely on a nightmare I had," shared a third.
