He Went On A Date With A Girl Who Brought Her Pet Snake, And They Got Kicked Out Of The Restaurant

Now that TikToker Ben Sitz (@bensitz) is getting married, he is reflecting on all the dates he's gone on to get to this point in his life. There was one date in particular that really stood out.

So, he matched with a girl on a dating app, and they started talking. The conversation was going well. They were really hitting it off, and nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

He asked her out to dinner, and they agreed to meet up at one of his favorite restaurants, where they made the best hummus. But on the day of the date, he was in for quite a surprise.

As he pulled into the parking lot, he received a text message from her, apologizing for running a little late. She added that she had brought Jeff with her. There was no further explanation as to who Jeff was.

Ben scrolled through their messages, trying to find any mention of a Jeff, but there was nothing. He wondered if Jeff was another guy or if he was her kid, and she just hadn't had time to find a babysitter.

"She could have brought eight kids, all connected to each other, and it would have been more normal than what I was about to experience because I could give you five guesses as to who you think Jeff is, and you would never get it," said Ben.

When she saw her lone self emerge from her car in the parking lot, he went over to greet her. They exchanged pleasantries, and she was clearly excited for their date. She apologized for being late again, saying that she had to grab Jeff.

Then, she opened her bag to show Ben what was inside. It turned out that Jeff was a red, black, and white snake. At first, his mind couldn't process what he was looking at. He was in a panic as they walked into the restaurant.

Once they were seated at a booth, his date explained that Jeff had really bad separation anxiety. He can't be left home alone, so she has to take him everywhere with her.

Next, they ordered margaritas, but she ordered hers with lemon, which was just diabolical to Ben.

"I'm just trying to get through the date, but Jeff starts to get a little curious, a little restless," he said. "And he starts to poke his head out from her bag. I feel like I'm being held at gunpoint."

"I can't understand anything she's saying because I'm just looking at Jeff, and he's piercing my soul. At this point, I'm just trying to drink enough spicy margaritas to numb my inevitable death later when Jeff swallows me whole."

Eventually, his date got up to use the bathroom, leaving Ben alone with the snake. Jeff was starting to get anxious and started to rise out of the bag more and more.

He ended up slithering onto the table. Ben froze in fear, not knowing what to do.

The server walked by and told him that he couldn't have a snake in the restaurant. They were both freaking out, so the server ran off to get the manager. Finally, Ben's date returned and freaked out when she saw Jeff on the table.

The manager came to kick them out because the snake was a health code violation. So, they left, and she was super embarrassed. They went their separate ways and never talked to each other again.
