If your spouse hounded you for an open marriage and you gave them what they wanted, only for them to get mad at you, how would you feel?

This 31-year-old woman’s 35-year-old husband broke them up after pushing her to have an open marriage. He badgered her for five long years to get a boyfriend, and she finally caved.

The latest time he pushed her for this was one week after she miscarried his child. She had also recently gotten gastric sleeve surgery and lost over 180 pounds. For some reason, she agreed this time to do what her husband wanted.

“After finding a partner that was okay with the situation, he and my [husband] shook hands and agreed to him being in a relationship with me,” she explained.

Three months later, he got mad at her for still seeing this 51-year-old guy, even though he facilitated it all! She couldn’t believe her husband was so angry at her for simply doing what he asked.

Her husband then tried to paint her as a cheater, so she went to therapy and even landed in the hospital. While hospitalized, she asked her husband to make a couple of changes in their marriage, and he told her he wouldn’t, while saying he was who he was and couldn’t change that.

It hurt her deeply to hear that, as she was sitting there in a hospital bed, getting help for her mental health, while asking her husband for hardly anything.

All she really wanted was for him to shower more frequently and tell her that he loved her, but he argued she was asking for too much.

It then dawned on her that she was no longer in love with her husband. So, after being discharged, she made the decision to keep seeing her boyfriend and try to develop something more with him.

“My ex-husband told me he wished I never had my surgery. . He wished that I stayed fat so I could not be attractive. That broke my heart,” she added.

“So…we’re divorced. And honestly it’s the best thing to ever happen to me. . I am still with the partner that I had the ‘affair’ with. We have been together over a year now.”

“And I can’t be more thankful for another man coming into my life to show me that I was getting the bare minimum.”

She’s someone who is against cheating, but she just wanted to give her husband what he had asked her for countless times. He got upset about it and tried to make her out to be the bad guy.

She doesn’t see how it’s her fault or how it’s fair to be called a cheater. But ultimately, it worked out for her because she ended up with a man who truly does love her for who she is.

What do you think of that?
