When TikToker Cydney (@cydneyjordan) was 22 years old, she started dating a 29-year-old guy. Shortly after they began dating, he lost his job and wanted her to start buying his groceries for him because he was spending all his money on alcohol.
He usually worked nights, but instead of working, he was just drinking every single night. She told him to cut back on his drinking or else she would stop buying groceries.
One day, he agreed to stop drinking for the rest of the week. Cydney was going out of town for her friend’s bridal shower. She would be gone for about four to five days, so she wouldn’t be able to supervise him.
When she returned, her boyfriend claimed that he hadn’t touched a drop of alcohol the whole time she was gone. But his friend was visiting for St. Patrick’s Day, and he wanted to do a bar crawl. She didn’t really want to go, but he guilted her into coming along.
On St. Patrick’s Day, they had a couple of drinks at his house and then headed to the bars. Once they got to a dive bar, he immediately ordered two shots and two beers and chugged the drinks down. Cydney knew they were already off to a bad start.
They were at the bar for an hour and a half, and his friend still hadn’t shown up. He was drinking a lot, so Cydney had to tell the bartender to stop serving him when he went to the bathroom.
Eventually, they left and went next door. They waited in the long line, and when they finally got into the bar, he ordered another two beers and two shots for himself.
By the time they finished their drinks, his friend showed up. He invited his friend back to his place because the drinks were too expensive.
Upon returning to his house, they started drinking and were getting really wasted. Cydney wanted to go home, but her boyfriend had hidden her house keys somewhere, forcing her to continue partying with them.

They ended up going out to another bar and hung out there for a couple of hours. Eventually, the bar closed, and they left. It was 3 a.m., and she was ready to go home.
Her boyfriend promised to take her home, but along the way, he stopped at a gas station and bribed the attendant with cash to sell him a 24-pack of beer. Then, they returned to his house and kept drinking. Cydney searched the house again for her keys, but couldn’t find them anywhere.
“Eventually, I go back outside, and they are both throwing empty beer cans into the street, and I’m like, you guys are 30 years old; what are we doing here?'” she said.
At that point, it was 5 a.m., and she was fed up. He told her to check the kitchen for her keys. They were in the oven of all places. She called a ride and ran to get in the car. The driver dropped her off at her house.
The next day, her boyfriend texted her and agreed that they should take a couple of weeks off from drinking. But that weekend, she went over to his place and saw beer cans everywhere. They are no longer together, and he is now married with a baby on the way.
