There’s nothing like a little nighttime hallucination to spice up your life. TikToker @itsamyareias is talking about how her fiancé sees things at night.

Some nights are normal, but other nights, he will wake up in the middle of the night, seeing various images, from creatures like spiders and snakes to human entities. For example, he sometimes might see a man standing in the corner of the room.

About a month ago, they were sleeping at night with the bedroom door open. Their bathroom door was also cracked open. In the dark, her fiancé saw a human-like hand coming out from behind the bathroom door.

It skittered up and down the door in a very creepy manner. After she started closing the bedroom door at night, nothing has happened since until recently.

Around 1 a.m., she was dreaming and thought she heard her fiancé tell her to wake up in her dream. She woke up and found him staring at the TV. She grabbed her phone and shone the flashlight in the direction he was staring at. Nothing was there.

She caressed his head with her hand, and he grabbed hold of her for comfort. When it was time to get up for the day, she asked him if he was okay. He replied that he hadn’t slept well. He then described what he saw standing at the foot of their bed.

There was a tall, bald, and skinny man wearing no shirt. His eyes were glowing white, and he was just staring and smiling. Her fiancé threw a pillow at the man, but he didn’t move.

He simply stood there, raised his arm, and pointed a finger at her fiancé. When she finally woke up and turned on her flashlight, the man disappeared.

“I’m seriously considering where I can get some sage in our room because I feel like holy water isn’t going to do this justice, especially if he saw something standing right at the foot of our bed,” said @itsamyareias.

“I’m not sure what is going on in my fiancé’s mind or what he’s dreaming about, but it’s really been freaking the both of us out.”

In the comments section, many TikTok users doled out some advice to @itsamyareias and her fiancé and shared their theories on what could be causing him to see creepy things.

“Get this man an eye mask and tell him he’s not allowed to take it off until morning,” suggested one user.

“Please, please have him see a sleep neurologist. Make sure the neurologist specializes in sleep—this is important. This could be hypnagogic hallucinations. This is scary, but it can be over if he is treated,” recommended another.

“He could be having sleep paralysis. It’s very common to see figures of people and entities when you have sleep paralysis. I know; I used to go through it for years,” chimed in a third.
