After TikToker Kate (@_ktelyn) found out that her husband had been having an affair with his secretary for the past year, she divorced him, and they split custody of their dog. She has the dog most of the time.
One day, her ex-husband’s sister texted her, asking her to give her a call about an urgent matter. So, Kate called her and was told that her ex had been admitted to the hospital and needed surgery. The sister wanted to bring the dog back to Kate.
They also engaged in some small talk. Kate doesn’t think his sister, or the rest of his family, for that matter, knows what really went down between them.
She’s in no rush to spill the tea because she has moved on with her life and doesn’t need the validation that comes from exposing someone else’s wrongdoings.
“The way our relationship ended made me look like I was absolutely insane, but what it turned out to be was that my ex just needed to deflect because he was having an affair with his secretary for the past year and ended up getting fired from his job,” said Kate.
She heard that her ex has been struggling to make things work with a married woman who has children for the last two years. He has not done any introspection, while Kate has grown significantly as a person and is living her best life.
Rumor has it that he recently stated he thinks he made a mistake leaving Kate.
In the comments section, many TikTok users were convinced that Kate’s former sister-in-law knew far more about the situation than she was letting on.
She may not know every detail, but she probably has a good idea about what happened. Others applauded Kate for taking the high road and refusing to rehash all the drama, even when she probably had every reason to clear her name.
