During Her First Date With A Guy, He Started Intensely Smelling Her Hair And Skin, Before Literally Following Her Home, And Her Boss Had To Come To Her Rescue
It can be exciting when going on a date with someone for the first time! There are so many things to look forward to and certain things to be a little nervous about. The butterflies are real when you meet someone that you really like.
But one other thing to consider on a first date is boundaries. What do you consider appropriate, and what is going too far?
What if your date starts creepily smelling your hair? Is that too far? Well, for TikToker KF, @korynaaa, this is exactly what happened to her, and it is definitely crossing her boundaries.
On her channel, she has several other date fail videos from her online date experiences. This time it’s a different kind of story, she explains. Although she met her date on Tinder, the downfall of the entire evening happened in person with him and not over direct message as she is usually used to.
“This time, it’s not online,” she said. “This is tête-à-tête, face to face.”
As situations like these usually do, the encounter started out pretty well.
“I meet this person on Tinder; they seem chill, they seemed really cool, we have a lot of interesting comments,” she said. “We move over to Instagram DMs, and we’re messaging a lot. The vibes are good.”
It’s because of this first online encounter that she had no reason to think that it would take a turn otherwise, especially after meeting her date in person. They decide to go out to a sit-down restaurant.

“We end up going on our first date, and it starts off great!” she said. “Mind you, there are tables, so there’s a boundary between us.”
Since the date was a surprising success for them both, they decided to move on after dinner to a local speakeasy for drinks, she said.
“That speakeasy only had at-bar seating, so we ended up sitting next to each other instead of across from each other,” she explained. That detail is extremely important for what happened next.
As she mentioned, the fact that they were now seated next to each other was “where things get a little weird.” He decided to amp up the physical touch once they were within close proximity to one another.
“He’s kind of trying to touch my arm, touch my hand–which, like, fine, ok if that’s your thing,” she said. “But I’m not a big physical touch person.”
He then takes the physical touch to a whole new level by bizarrely flicking her hair off of her shoulders repeatedly.
“It gets to the point where he grabs my hair, he doesn’t pull, but he grabs it, and he just– huffs it,” she said while intensely sniffing her own hair as a demonstration. “And I mean that literally.”
The entire situation made her extremely uncomfortable and turned down any chance of possibly pursuing this guy.
“He continues to do this, and it progresses to the point where he’s like starting to sniff my head and then give me kisses,” she further explained. “It goes from just smelling my hair to smelling my skin.”
While he does compliment her on how good she smells, it’s in a creepy way, not in a flattering one. But the date gets so much worse from there.
When they finally leave, she says that she’s going to head home even though he invited her back to his place. But he won’t leave her.
Multiple times, she tries to escape by saying that she’s got to catch a train to a different state, which costs more money, and that he can go home. He insists on following her wherever she’s going.
“We get to my train station, he buys a ticket and gets onto the platform with me,” she continued. “By this time, I’m like, ‘ok, I need to figure out an escape plan.'”
But while she’s there trying to contact her boss for an SOS, he crosses the final line by whipping out his camera and photographing her, unwarranted.
“This guy pulls out a Nikon camera, like a big ol’ camera, and starts taking pictures of me on the platform,” she added. “I’m like, I don’t want to be in this.”
He gets on the train with her and follows her all the way home to her neighborhood. No matter what she does or says, he won’t leave. She’s only able to separate from him when her boss finds them and comes over.
“It wasn’t until my boss literally intercepted us on our walk,” she said. “And was like, ‘hey, you’ve got a paycheck and some paperwork I need you to fill out. Can you come by?'”
Thankful for the SOS escape, she agrees and goes off with her boss.
“That’s when my date left,” she concluded. “Not after me saying no–because my boss intercepted us.”
He turned out to be much worse than expected. Sometimes what you see online is not what you get.
