She Asked The Guy She’s Been Dating To Be Exclusive, And He Said He Needs A Few Days To Consider It

For the last four months, this 25-year-old girl has been dating a guy the same age as her, and she admits that they have been really taking their time with the relationship.
However, she recently came to the conclusion that she is ready to make things official and exclusive with him, as she wants that label to what’s going on between them.
And to be fair, she believes he is already acting just like he’s already her boyfriend, even without discussing things.
“We’ve had a few overnights; we’ve both worked from home together and have spent hours together doing chores and cooking dinner,” she explained.
“We’ve talked about finances, and he’s helped me set up some investments/savings and organize my money.”
“He came with me when I got my car serviced and even got me my money back when they didn’t complete the service properly.”
Also, she’s going to be moving to a new place quite soon, and he said he was happy to help her with all of that, even though she never once asked him.
He came up with an entire moving plan, and mentioned he is willing to help her sell all of her furniture that she doesn’t want to take with her to her new home.
They speak every single day, which also has made her confident about the direction things are moving in.

She finally worked up the courage to have the conversation about exclusivity with him, and his response was completely unexpected.
“I asked him to be in an exclusive relationship, and he said he needs a couple [of] days to think about it,” she said.
“Does he actually want to be in a relationship? If he does agree to be in a relationship how do I know he actually wants it and won’t come to regret it later on?”
