She thought she was going on harmless dates, but she was actually in danger the whole time. TikToker Andrea (@andreasz520) is talking about how she unknowingly went on three dates with a convicted felon.

He was charged with domestic violence against his exes, including aggravated stalking and discharging a firearm in public.

“As women who are dating or on dating sites or even just meeting people in real life, get their full names and look them up before agreeing to meet them,” Andrea warned.

“And I normally always do this,” she continued. “Of course, this is the one time I didn’t, and he really made it hard for me to get his full name.”

Her process usually starts with getting a person’s phone number and then running it through a search service to find information on them.

But when she looked up this guy’s phone number, nothing came up. It made sense because he had told her that he had just gotten a new phone for Christmas, so she brushed it off.

A couple of days after they started talking, he planned a date. The date went well, except she forgot to ask him for his last name. They followed each other on social media, and that all seemed pretty normal.

They met up again the next day. Then, he invited her out on a boat ride for the weekend. He had a boat club membership, so they had to ask for his last name to confirm the reservation. She sensed a hesitation from him when they asked.

She still got on a boat with him in the middle of the ocean, ignoring her intuition. While they were on the boat, Andrea noticed that he was looking at other girls on social media and checking his messages. Aside from that, she had a good time.

Afterward, they went to a waterfront restaurant. At the end of the date, he dropped her back off at her place. As soon as she was alone, she looked him up.

Multiple mugshots popped up, and his most recent arrest was just over a month ago for domestic violence.

Andrea was disappointed because she actually liked this guy. But she ended up blocking him on everything and deleted her dating profiles. However, his messages were still coming through on her laptop.

He asked her what had happened to all her profiles. She explained that she had looked him up. He tried to accuse his exes of making up lies to get him arrested, but Andrea wasn’t buying it. Her safety mattered more than anything else.

He was also mad because his dating profile got disabled when she unmatched with him, and stated that the reason was that he was a convicted felon.
