She Realized That She Was Actually “The Other Woman” After Learning Her Boyfriend Was A Married Man
Back in October, this 22-year-old woman met a 29-year-old guy named Bryan on Tinder. And apparently, they immediately clicked.
While they began dating, she did try to date other people. But, she realized that nothing else compared to the chemistry she and Bryan had.
So, by the time it was December, they were officially in a relationship together.
Bryan happened to be a single dad, though, meaning that their relationship was a large adjustment for both of them.
And since she did not get a ton of free time with Bryan, they would usually just meet up for a few hours each week.
Things soon became more serious, too, and she admitted that she had started to fall in love with him. At the same time, though, she realized that there were numerous red flags.
“I know that these are pretty obvious, but I really believed what stories he told me,” she prefaced.
For instance, at the beginning of the relationship, she had asked Bryan if he was married– because apparently, she just had a feeling that he was.
Bryan confirmed he was not married, though, and later filled her in on his past relationships. He revealed how he had been divorced twice and also had split custody of his child.

At that point, she just tried to be really understanding whenever Bryan was late, canceled on her, or was just hesitant about having her over at his house and meeting his child.
“I thought that this was what dating a single dad was like,” she said.
So, even though everything felt a bit fishy, she tried to respect Bryan’s privacy wishes.
Then, she was finally supposed to meet her boyfriend’s child, and she thought they were really making some progress in their relationship.
She wound up having to leave town for a few days first. And once she got back, she and Bryan made plans to meet up– along with his child.
Her work schedule ultimately got in the way, though, so they had to cancel the meeting. Afterward, she reached out to Bryan over text to ask if she could give him a call, and that’s when she learned everything had been a lie.
Apparently, Bryan’s wife texted her back– revealing that he was a married cheater. Then, Bryan’s wife called her from his phone, and she was dumbfounded.
“I was in complete shock,” she recalled.
“The whole conversation was two minutes long, and I could hear him acting like a whiny jerk who got caught in the background.”
During that phone call, she didn’t get any details aside from the fact that Bryan was married, and she should never contact him again.
She also did not even get a chance to talk to Bryan or express her own anger and sadness.
So, she has been trying to come to terms with the fact that their whole relationship was a blatant lie. The worst part for her, though, is that she has no clue if anything Bryan said to her was ever true.
She also just cannot believe that she is “the other woman.” She has no idea how it happened or how she missed it.
“I know that he was flaky, but was that because he is a single dad or because he had to be home with the wife?” she vented.
“It drives me crazy that I will never know– as I am blocked– and that he really played me.”
She has since realized that there were numerous red flags throughout their relationship. But she just cannot get over the fact that Bryan’s reasoning always seemed legitimate.
Now, it is clear to her that Bryan was just a wonderful liar. He would take her out around town, introduce her to his friends, and even post her on his social media accounts!
So, somehow, Bryan was just really good at faking his life– leading her to assume that he probably cheated with other women, too, while his wife was out of town.
Bryan also told her that he legally changed his name a couple of years ago. This means that even the name she knew him by might have been a total lie.
And if she ever wants to find him, she has no clue what his real last name is.
Thankfully, though, she revealed how she has no intentions of ever speaking to Bryan or his wife again.
She plans to just deal with all of the mystery surrounding their relationship and will be starting therapy next week.
In the meantime, though, she has just been left reflecting on how crazy this entire situation was.
