The other day, TikToker Mikayla (@mikaylacapps) was on Spotify listening to music when she saw a notification in the top left corner of the app.
When she clicked on it, she saw that it was a message from a man whom she had already blocked on every other social media platform. He had sent her a Kanye West song.
So, she had gone on a date with this guy a while ago. Right after their date, she went out with a different guy. She decided to start dating the second guy because they were more compatible.
The first guy texted her frequently, asking to take her out, even though he knew she had a boyfriend. When Mikayla and her boyfriend finally broke up, she decided to go out with the first guy she met.
He picked her up at 7:30 p.m. The second she got into the car, he told her that he had gotten drunk the previous night and lost his wallet and ID, so he would have to use his passport as his form of identification.
At the bar, the drinks were at least $15 each. He asked the server to bring him the cheapest beer available.
Then, he proceeded to go to the bathroom about five times in 30 minutes. Each time he came back, he acted increasingly erratic. It got to the point where Mikayla had to ask him if he was okay.
He explained that he had just stopped taking his medication for ADD and was spazzing out a little.
Eventually, they finished their drinks and got the check. He did some intense calculations before whipping out $40 in cash and slamming it onto the table.

Next, they got a ride to another bar. He immediately went to the restroom. Finally, she realized that he must be using substances. It all made sense.
“He’s tweaking, interrupting everything I say, which drives me mad, knees constantly bouncing like he’s off the walls,” said Mikayla.
“Once I put those calculations together in my head, I’m like, I want to leave.”
She asked the server for the check and paid for everything because her date had only brought $40, which he had already spent. When she arrived home, he texted her, asking when he would see her again. She told him that he was disrespectful and had wasted her time, so he wouldn’t be hearing from her again.
This caused him to call and text her nonstop for two weeks. She tried really hard to be polite, but her patience eventually ran out. She told him that he was manic and needed to start taking his medications again. Then, she blocked him on everything. A year later, he is still trying to reach out to her through Spotify.
