Olivia (@oliviazagame18 on TikTok) went on a date with a guy who totally ignored her, and if you thought things couldn’t get worse, then she got stuck with the $400 bill at the end of the night because he couldn’t pay it.

Olivia met this man when she was out with her friends one evening, and all of her friends knew him and insisted he was an amazing guy.

So, when he asked her out to have dinner at a restaurant with him, Olivia said yes. After all, he already got the stamp of approval from her friends, so he had to be great, right?

On the night of their date, they walked in, and they sat at the bar of the restaurant. Immediately, Olivia’s date began talking to the people sitting next to them instead of her.

Olivia was sitting there awkwardly sipping on her drinks, speaking to the bartender because her date had his back turned to her. The bartender asked Olivia how long she had known the guy she was with, and she told him it was their first date.

The bartender told her that it was not going well, but she still tried to roll with it and didn’t make a scene or call him out for being rude and totally ignoring her.

Olivia’s date then began ordering shots for other people in the bar, so many people in there were drinking for free. He still wasn’t having a conversation with her at all or acknowledging her existence.

After having had enough of that, Olivia finally told her date that she wanted to head home, and he said they could wrap the date up as soon as he paid for the bill.

“The bartender comes over with the check, the guy puts his card down, the bartender comes back over, his card gets declined,” Olivia explained in her video.

“He says, ‘Oh, let me move some money from my savings to my checking.’ His phone dies. You pay the tab because you feel bad for the bartender, and it’s not the bartender’s fault that he said he would pay for all these shots and drinks and all that.”

“So, um, yeah, you pay the tab. $400. And you had like one or two drinks, no shots. You tell the guy like, [I] would love for you to pay me back, but instead, you never hear from him again.”

“You’re better than me, I would’ve been gone when that declined lol,” one person commented on Olivia’s video.

“I would have walked out once he turned his back to me!” a second person exclaimed.

“Recently single here. Thanks for reminding me to stay single and not date,” someone else said.

“Why didn’t you confront him and tell him this is not acceptable, or why didn’t you just leave?” a fourth person wondered.
