There’s no denying that many of us have been willing to jump through hoops for a crush, but some people have gone to greater lengths to win over someone’s heart than others.

TikToker Arielle Barokas (@inspiredby_a) is talking about the craziest thing she’s ever done to impress a guy she had a crush on.

So, she met this guy and thought he was cute. They started dating, and one day, she decided to invite him over to her place for dinner. The only problem was that she did not have any furniture in her apartment.

She had moved into the apartment six months ago but had never bothered to furnish it because she was focused on other priorities.

Naturally, she freaked out because the guy was coming to her place in two days, so she did not have much time to make it look presentable.

Arielle’s best friend lived two blocks away from her. Her solution was to go over to her place and take all the furniture.

She snagged the tables, chairs, candles, plants, and everything that would turn her house into a home.

When he finally saw her apartment, he commented on how much he loved her plants. Later, Arielle begged her friend to let her buy the plants from her. Her friend said no, so she bought the same plants at the store.

After returning the furniture to her friend, she told the guy that she had sold all her furniture to her friend because she wanted to change up her interior.

She ended up buying new furniture, and that man is now her fiancé. Several TikTok users shared similar experiences in the comments section.

“We were long distance, and when he visited the first time, I rented an Airbnb in the city and pretended it was my apartment,” admitted one user.

“I invited him anyway, and he ended up coming with me to get furniture, all from Ikea, and he built everything. Still my BF,” commented another.

“OMG, when I moved into my first place, I invited my BF over and ran out and bought chairs JUST for dinner. He had to return them for me after,” wrote a third.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve done in the name of love?
