When TikToker @thatbaldheadblondegirl agreed to go to church with a guy, she did not expect it to end in a parking lot showdown.
So, church started at 10 a.m., and he arrived at her house to pick her up at 9:20. She was a little late and was out the door by 9:25, so she was pushing the time it took to get to church.
Then, she wanted to stop and get coffee, even though her date was anxious to get to church. They got to church at exactly 10:00. She took her time primping herself in the car, so he left the car keys with her. She was upset because it was her first time going to this church, and it was supposed to be a date.
She texted her friend, asking if they could pick her up. Right then, her date came back out, looking for her. She told him she was leaving.
He tried to get her into the church, and this went on for about two minutes in the parking lot. She started getting teary-eyed because he was the one who had left her behind in the first place.
He felt that she was being disrespectful to him and his time. She thought he was in too much of a hurry because she wrapped up her last-minute touchups by 10:03, and he could’ve just waited three minutes.
Now, she’s turning to TikTok because she wants to know if she was in the wrong on this church date.
Many TikTok users sided with her date in this scenario. They flocked to the comments section to tell her all the ways that she was being disrespectful.
“If church starts at ten and you got there at ten, you are indeed not on time, especially if you see this man is punctual,” commented one user.

“I hate to agree with a man, but you lack time management, accountability, and consideration for his time. Then, you proceeded to be manipulative once you arrived at the church,” stated another.
“Since he was driving, you could’ve already put your lip gloss on before ya’ll pulled up to the church. I would’ve been annoyed too and wouldn’t have stopped to get you Starbucks,” wrote a third.
