Recently, TikToker Autumn (@autumn_carlee) matched with a girl on a dating app. They messaged back and forth for a little while before exchanging phone numbers.

Then, they continued texting for a week and a half and even video chatted a few times to make sure there was mutual attraction.

At some point, the girl expressed that she wanted to meet Autumn in person. They did not go out on a date because Autumn ended up driving to her apartment. They hung out and got to know each other better. The conversation was fresh, flirty, and flowing.

Toward the end of the night, Autumn was getting really tired and wanted to go home. They kissed, and right after the kiss, the girl kept saying she was obsessed with Autumn. She asked her to stay the night.

Autumn explained that she was not the type of person who liked hookups. The girl was respectful of that and walked her back to her car.

She kept holding her hand, hugging her, and kissing her. They made plans to see each other the following weekend. When Autumn arrived home, she texted the girl goodnight.

The next day, they texted like normal, but it was now much more intense. They were both excited to see each other again and thought that this could be something more.

But then, the girl stopped responding. She never replied to Autumn’s good morning text.

To this day, Autumn hasn’t heard from her, and it has been months. She is also blocked on social media. She could not believe she was blocked 48 hours after meeting her and realized that both men and women play games.

“There was no explanation; just ghosted and blocked,” said Autumn. “Don’t try to switch sides just because you think it’s easier because they play less games. Because that is proven to be false.”

In the comments section, many women described their own experiences with dating other women compared to men.

“…A breakup with a man is light work. My first wlw breakup almost sent me into the psych ward. I was on three mood stabilizers and two times weekly therapy,” shared one user.

“I went on a few dates with a girl, thought it was going really well, and then out of the blue, in my car after a date, she said that she’s waiting for her rich husband so she won’t have to work anymore,” commented another.

“Absolutely. I tried to date girls, and there was one who just caught my attention so bad, and she ended up making out with this masc. lesbian right in front of me when she was the one who asked me out. I can handle men. But women? That hurt so bad,” wrote someone else.
