Emily Fuller, who goes by @itsemilyfuller on TikTok, has a toddler daughter named Grace who made an unexpected friend one day.

Emily’s mom and dad live next door to a park, which is located near a cemetery. Her husband took Grace to the park one day, and Grace said she wanted to go walk around the cemetery.

Emily’s mom sadly only has a few months left to live, and after her passing, she will be buried in that exact cemetery. Emily’s husband decided to oblige Grace, and they walked through the cemetery together.

Grace questioned Emily’s husband about the various headstones they went by and wanted to know what each one had inscribed on it.

After Emily’s husband and Grace returned home, Grace excitedly told her all about her new friend, whom she referred to as ‘Dead Grace.’

Emily’s husband and Grace had walked past the grave of a baby named Grace who passed away the day she was born, and although her husband told their toddler about multiple headstones, this one of the baby stuck with their toddler.

Initially, Emily thought her daughter was thrilled because they had the same name, but then Emily’s daughter kept talking about this baby for the remainder of the day.

Not only that, but Grace brought up the baby the very next day, and for several days after the walk in the cemetery. Grace was two at the time and hardly ever fixated on anything, so that really impressed Emily even further.

Grace asked Emily if she could go visit her friend Dead Grace, told Emily’s dad all about Dead Grace, and even prayed with the family at night, saying thank you for her new friend.

“It was just so sweet how much she was just clinging to this new person in her life, this new friend,” Emily explained in her video.

Since Grace kept on begging to go back to the cemetery, Emily and her husband brought her there, and they couldn’t believe that their Grace remembered exactly where Dead Grace was located.

Emily has since gotten in touch with Dead Grace’s family, and she’s thrilled to get to know them and learn more about their Grace’s story.

“I think that this will be a site that we continue to visit as we visit my mom’s, which is just going to be a special part. I don’t know. Just interesting how in a day so much can change, but this is really a special thing that’s cool to be a part of,” Emily concluded.

In the comments section, people expressed how touched they were by the friendship of the Graces.

“As a mom who lost her 7-week-old son in Dec 2013, this would touch my heart if this ever happened. He was an organ donor. His name is Jaxson,” one person commented.

“The Graces got together to give some peace to their moms,” someone else said.

“Grace and Grace connected for a reason. Your mum is going to care for Grace, and her mum is going to be there for you and your Grace. Things always happen for a reason. I’m so glad this did,” a third person added.
