When her best friend called to tell her that she was staying the night at a guy’s house, TikToker @naash.fm immediately agreed to keep an eye on her by tracking her location.
Her friend told her that the house was huge and proceeded to video call her and show off the place. The house had marble floors and walls and was situated right near the beach.
Her friend had been talking to this 24-year-old guy, Antonio, for about three weeks. On paper, he sounded impressive. He drove a Tesla and apparently had three houses.
Something in her gut told @naash.fm to double-check the details. She looked up the address where her best friend was staying. That’s when everything started unraveling.
She discovered that the house was for sale. Immediately suspicious, she asked her friend what Antonio’s last name was and did a little more digging.
When she searched his name online, she found that he was a real estate agent. Suddenly, the multiple homes made more sense.
She told her friend what she had discovered, but she still wasn’t convinced because he had framed pictures of his kids in the house.
Finally, after thinking it through, she realized that the math wasn’t adding up. The kids in the photos were way too old to be Antonio’s.
The pieces of the puzzle clicked into place. Antonio was just hosting her in staged homes that were actively on the market.

“So, I’m sitting on the phone, and my best friend is putting two and two together,” said @naash.fm.
“Turns out this dude is a real estate agent, and those are not his homes. The homes that he’s been taking my best friend to, those are not his homes. Well played, Antonio.”
Instead of leaving right away, her friend decided to stick around because she didn’t want to throw away the opportunity to enjoy a beachfront view.
After all, the house was empty. TikToker @naash.fm told her friend not to be alarmed if she woke up in the morning with a bunch of strangers in the living room, there for the scheduled open house.
The internet had a lot to say about Antonio’s strategy. Some called it clever and deceptive, while others saw it as a red flag. It seemed like a horror movie waiting to happen, and he could definitely get fired.
Several people agreed that every woman needs a friend who can investigate in real time.
“That’s why you always need a friend who can look up anything,” commented one user.
“And this is why you need your homegirls!! They pick up the slack when you’re being silly,” pointed out another.
