TikToker Hayley (@hayleybarbara_) made the mistake of moving in with her fiancé after he proposed. Seven months in, she ended up getting laid off from her job.

She also caught her fiancé emotionally cheating with his ex-girlfriend from high school. It had been 10 years since they dated, and his ex now looks like a man.

Hayley caught him cheating about 30 minutes before he left for a three-month-long deployment to Iraq. A couple of months later, she found out that she was pregnant.

The news triggered him, and he wasn’t able to handle it, so he decided to cheat with an actual man. He claimed it was experimental and promised Hayley that it wouldn’t happen again.

She did not have the baby, not wanting to bring a child into such a toxic and unhealthy situation.

He tried to make her believe that her behavior was the reason that all these unfortunate things happened. He also wanted to prove his love to her. She stayed in the relationship for another year.

The whole time, he kept stringing her along, vowing to make it up to her every time he was unfaithful. When Hayley tried to address his behavior and express how it made her feel, he pointed the finger back at her.

A year later, their lease was about to expire, and he went away on a work trip. She found evidence that he was cheating again, potentially with another man. He completely ignored her for an entire month, refusing to answer her about what they were going to do about their lease ending.

“He says nothing because he’s a coward and can’t actually say he doesn’t want to deal with the relationship anymore,” said Hayley.

“He also can’t even pick up the phone to call you or text you on your birthday.”

Finally, she was fed up and packed up the house since she had bought most of their stuff anyway. Her mother flew out to help her pack everything up in a moving truck. Meanwhile, he did nothing to help.

She drove 19 hours back to her parents’ house and put all her stuff in a storage unit. A year and a half later, she is still trying to pay off the debt she had accumulated during the relationship because he had also been financially abusive.

In the comments section, several TikTok users could relate to what Hayley has been through.

“He cheated on me 17 days after we got together, and we’ve been together for about three years, and I just found out a few days ago. He purposely got me pregnant, proposed to me, and married me, knowing he cheated so early on,” commented one user.

“As a Marine Corps vet, I wish that every woman would go into these military relationships as business arrangements. The things that I have witnessed,” chimed in another.

“As someone who just got out of an abusive relationship with a DL Navy commander, I know how you feel. It’s scarred me for life,” stated a third.
