Being invited out on a date isn’t a free-for-all to order things you don’t have to pay for, but some women absolutely try to take advantage of it.
Jourdan Davis (@davisjourdan on TikTok) recently went on a date with a sloppy girl who blamed him for their evening going wrong, and he’s left feeling puzzled about it.
Jourdan originally met this girl on a dating app, and he asked her out to dinner at an amazing Italian restaurant. They both got there on time, but since their table wasn’t ready, they made their way over to the bar.
Jourdan told his date that he was on a 30-day break from alcohol, but generously offered to order her any drink she wanted. She proceeded to ask for a tequila on the rocks with Don Julio 1942, which runs $150 to $200 a bottle, meaning it wasn’t a cheap drink.
Knowing that he did tell her she could get anything she felt like, Jourdan wasn’t too bothered by it. Also, he thought they wouldn’t be waiting around to be seated for long, considering they had a reservation.
Ten minutes later, this girl had downed her drink and asked for another. Jourdan likes to stick to a two-drink maximum on a first date, which is a wise rule, but he wasn’t judging this girl.
Another ten minutes went by, and she got a third pricey drink. Finally, their table was ready, and as soon as they got their menus, this girl said she was famished and wanted to order everything. Jourdan expected they could order some things to split, but this girl had other plans.
“The waiter comes over, she takes the lead, and quite literally orders everything, including another ’42 on the rocks. By the time the food finally comes, she’s on [drink] number five, and it’s visible,” Jourdan explained in his video.
“On and off, she’s got the hiccups, she’s extra giggly, and she’s gone to the bathroom at least four to five times. Four appetizers, a salad, multiple pastas, and two entrees later, they all get plopped down on the table, and of course, she’s no longer that hungry.”

“I certainly can’t eat it all, but I’m going to…try because I hate wasting food. So I do my best, but there’s a ton of food left. Before she can even get her next drink, I ask for the check and some boxes.”
Jourdan said the food was incredible, and he was looking forward to being able to enjoy the leftovers at least for a couple of days.
He put all of the dishes that were untouched into the boxes, including pasta, chicken, fish, and two entire appetizers. He paid the check and stated they had to get this girl home safely.
Jourdan ordered her an Uber, since that’s how she made it there, and he kindly waited for her ride to arrive before driving himself home.
When the car pulled up, they hugged goodbye, but this girl snatched the whole bag of leftovers and announced that she would be taking “her food” home with her.
Jourdan was really excited about the leftovers, which really were the only highlight to his disaster of a date, so he sat there wondering how to break the news to her.
He finally asked if he could just have the pasta since he enjoyed it, and she hiccuped, saying it was going to be her midnight snack since she was the one who ordered it, after all.
Jourdan thought to himself that she technically ordered absolutely everything on the menu, but suggested forking over the chicken as a solution, which offended her.
She declared that the chicken was hers, too, and argued that Jourdan had already had his half, which wasn’t true. They were standing there in the street, and this girl’s Uber driver was ready to leave already.
Jourdan asked her if he could have anything in the takeout bag, which infuriated her, and she said she couldn’t believe that he was trying to steal all of her food.
She stumbled up to the Uber and attempted to slam the door right in his face. The Uber driver was staring back at Jourdan awkwardly while the girl sat in the back pretending Jourdan did not exist.
Jourdan very politely texted her later on to say he hoped she arrived home safely and enjoyed all of her food. This girl blocked him.
Poor Jourdan! I don’t think he did anything wrong and admire him for being nothing but a gentleman under circumstances like this.
