When TikToker @nenethedragon83 was a little kid, her mom went to an estate sale and saw a dresser with a mirror attached to it. She thought it would be perfect for her room. At the time, it seemed like an ordinary piece of furniture with a bit of vintage charm.
One day, her mom heard her talking to someone while she was playing in her room. She was around five or six years old. When her mom asked her who she was talking to, she responded with “the lady in the mirror.”
Her mother brushed it off as childhood imagination, so she didn’t think much of it. After all, kids invent imaginary friends all the time.
A short time later, her mom wanted to go back to the estate sale to buy something else that caught her eye, and she brought @nenethedragon83 along. While her mom was talking to the guy in charge of the estate sale, @nenethedragon83 sat there and took in her surroundings.
As she quietly looked around the very large house, her eyes landed on a framed photograph of a woman. She immediately pointed to the picture of the woman and declared that she was the lady in the mirror.
She claimed that she talked to the lady in the mirror all the time and that the lady liked to watch her play. The lady was also sad because she couldn’t play with her son anymore. It was way too specific to ignore.
Her mom and the guy in charge of the estate sale were shocked. He explained that the lady was his mom, and she had passed away about four or five years ago.
According to @nenethedragon83’s mom, she gave the guy a message from his mom. She can’t remember what the message was because she was too young at the time, but she does remember the guy’s reaction.
He started crying happy tears. He thanked @nenethedragon83 and her mom before they left the estate sale.

After that, they went home, and @nenethedragon83 tried to speak to the lady in the mirror again. However, she was gone. It was almost as if she had helped give the lady some closure and finished some unresolved business, allowing her to finally rest in peace.
In the comments section, some TikTok users shared similar paranormal experiences and theories.
“I have some myself. Civil war soldiers, predicting death, and a very unhinged visit from someone who is not a family member of mine. I hope to meet the person he belongs to because I have questions,” commented one user.
“She sounds like she was a nice lady, though. She was struggling to pass over, and you helped her,” added another.
