His Ex-Fiancée’s Younger Sister Intentionally Tricked Him Into Going Out On A Date, And Then She Said He Shouldn’t Allow His Ex To Get In The Way Of Them Having Fun

A 31-year-old man used to be engaged to his former fiancée, named Kelly, and they originally met in college.
Kelly was stunning, blonde, a college athlete, a swimwear model, and the most drop-dead gorgeous girl that he had ever laid eyes on.
Kelly was pretty flirty with him from the get-go, and he was absolutely shocked when he asked her out on a date, and she agreed.
Unfortunately, though, dating Kelly turned out to be a complete nightmare, and looking back now, he calls it “the worst mistake” he has yet made.
Kelly was gorgeous on the outside but ugly on the inside. She was manipulative, narcissistic, controlling, and abusive.
He was so into Kelly, that he let her walk all over him, and he even let her chase away his loved ones.
Kelly changed him from being upbeat and joyful to depressed and sad.
“I went as far as proposing to her, but thankfully came to my senses after a huge fight when she refused to let me attend a close female friend’s wedding,” he explained.
“I’ve barely had any contact with her in the 9 years since I broke things off, and I wouldn’t be upset if I never saw her again.”

Several months before he proposed to Kelly, he met her family for the very first time. Kelly’s mom and dad got divorced when she was quite young, and she never spent time with her dad since she hated his new family.
Kelly constantly made up reasons why she couldn’t go to any family holidays or celebrations, and he knows that Kelly truly resented her dad, his new wife, and her half-siblings.
While at dinner with Kelly’s family, he thought that they all seemed very sweet. Kelly had a 14-year-old half-sister named Stephanie who adored Kelly, but Kelly was rude to her and found her annoying.
If you thought that would be the first and last time he saw Kelly’s half-sister, Stephanie, you were wrong.
Not that long ago, he met a beautiful 24-year-old blonde woman on a dating app who seemed really into him immediately.
After several days of texting, they went out to get coffee together. “I was honestly floored when she walked in, pictures didn’t do her justice,” he said.
“She greeted me with a smile and a hug, and then everything went south when she said, “You don’t remember me, do you?”
“Turns out I was on a date with my ex’s little sister, who I hadn’t seen in a decade. She honestly looked nothing like the awkward 14-year-old I had met before and doesn’t really resemble Kelly. I gave her an immediate “What the…you and I can’t be on a date!”
Stephanie asked him to take a seat, and she revealed to him that she always had a little crush on him.
She then mentioned that she absolutely hates Kelly and thought it would be a great way to make Kelly upset by going out on a date with him.
“I responded by telling her I had closed the book on that part of my life and it would be best if we didn’t speak again, and got up to leave,” he continued.
“She told me to think about it and that I shouldn’t let Kelly get in the way of us having fun together.”
Well, he blocked Stephanie’s number, but he’s convinced that Stephanie will tell Kelly that they went on a date anyway.
“I don’t want to deal with Kelly at all, I’m happy to have her out of my life,” he added. “But I can’t help but think I need to cut this off at the pass and maybe call her and tell her what happened.”
“I’m not even sure if I still have her number any more or if she’d even pick up if I called.”
He feels like there is no good option here. Should he reach out to Kelly and tell her about the date, or should he drop it?
