Clint Winters, who goes by @clintwinters on TikTok and has a collection of some of the coolest paranormal stories I’ve ever heard, recently opened up about a personal experience that changed his outlook on the supernatural.
While Clint says he has always believed in spirits or ghosts, he never realized how powerful our loved ones in the afterlife can be until he got a fateful phone call.
Back in 2016, Clint sadly lost his mom following a six-month-long battle with cancer. But right before that, his mom expressed to him that she wanted to work out with him, which was a new bonding adventure for them.
Clint and his mom spent a ton of time in the gym he has in his home, and he got her strong. As his mom grew ill, they had to stop working out.
Following her passing, Clint was overwhelmed. A couple of days after his mom’s passing, he decided to work out, and as he was in his gym, he thought about all of the amazing memories he and his mom had made in there.
He was so proud of his mom and grateful to have had the extra time with her.
“It was really the first time that, privately, I’d really just really felt that pit of loss. So I walked up from the gym, and I was getting ready to get in the shower, and I took my phone, and I put it on the counter like I always did,” Clint explained in his video.
“I was sitting there, and I remember looking in the mirror and being just really sad. And in that moment, I got a phone call. I looked down, and it’s my mom.”
“Clear as day, my mom’s calling me. Now, she’s been passed away for a few days now. It was a feeling of shock first, and then a little bit of paralysis, but I also didn’t want to miss the call, as weird as that sounds.”

Clint picked up the phone, and there was silence on the other end of the line. He didn’t hear his mom or anything at all. But the fact that his mom had called him was completely impossible.
Later on, Clint questioned his family members about his mom’s phone, and they all said it had not been charging, so it was dead, meaning it was doubly mind-blowing that he got that call in the first place.
Clint still can not tell you how it happened, or why it did, just as he was sitting there acknowledging how sad he was to have lost someone so special to him.
“I felt like that was her reaching out, and I took it as, I’m fine, everything is ok, I’m in a better spot and don’t feel this way,” Clint continued.
“That’s how I took it, or at least, that’s how I wanted to take it. So, from that moment forward, I’ve taken the paranormal even more [seriously] because I had that experience.”
“I think there [are] things in this world we can’t explain, and I definitely think that was one of them. I’m really thankful every day that I got to experience that with my mom’s spirit.”
Clint says the phone call truly helped him heal and has further fueled his enchantment with loved ones who have reached out after passing away.

“I understand this very much. After my husband passed, I was looking for the garage keys and couldn’t find them. The garage was his playground with the tools, projects, and whatever. He had hidden them from me, so I couldn’t sell any of his possessions. After I decided not to sell anything, the keys showed up. We have been playing this game for seven years now, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything,” one person said.
“They find a way to let you know. My mother came to me after passing. Only once, she stroked my cheek and thanked me for taking care of her in the understandable journey alzheimers took her. That was so very healing,” someone else added.
“I 100% believe you because I missed a call from my Mom. She called at 4:23 AM. Her time of death was marked 4:25, so I told my sister her time of death was wrong. Also, she called me again the following day, and I picked up. Nothing but breathing, but I knew it was her. Her phone was powered down, on the table & ready to go back to Verizon, but caller ID said Mom. My Mom was my best friend,” a third person revealed.
