Amid Allegations That Meghan Markle Bullied Palace Staff, One Of Her Closest Friends Has Something To Say

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently moved to Santa Barbara, California, and bought a house in a neighborhood called Montecito, after they announced that they were no longer going to be an active part of the royal family.

“We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the royal family and work to become financially independent,” the famous couple said as part of their statement.

Not long into their non-royal life, there are now allegations coming out that Meghan bullied someone who worked at the palace while she was there.

Amid these currently unfounded allegations, one of Meghan’s closest friends has something to say.

Lindsay Jill Roth made a statement in which she explained that she has known Meghan for 22 years, and Meghan was even her Maid of Honor when she got married.

Lindsay and Meghan also spent time at Northwestern University together, and Lindsay knows Meghan quite well.

“Meg’s M.O. has always been kindness; goodwill runs in her bones,” Lindsay said in an Instagram post.

“I know this to be true after 22 years of very close friendship. I have seen firsthand how she treats her friends and their families, and her colleagues.”

Lindsay went on to say that “If she’s driving with you in the passenger seat, she will fling her right arm in front of you at the slightest bump in a gesture of love to ensure your safety.”

“If you have a specific goal, she will help you get there, and your passions will become hers on your behalf.”

Lindsay described Meghan as an “altruistic, magnanimous friend” and someone who is not only funny but smart too.

Throughout the more than 2 decades Lindsay has known Meghan, she maintains that she has always been this person.

When Lindsay and Meghan went to college together, when Meghan was auditioning for her career, and when she was working on the set of Suits, Meghan was always kind.

“…She was this woman before you knew she was dating Harry; she was this woman after you knew was dating Harry; she was this woman when she became Duchess of Sussex and she is still – without a doubt – this very same woman today,” Lindsay concluded.
