The Internet Is Wondering Why Lady Gaga Isn’t Helping Pay For Her Dog Walker After He Was Shot While Walking Her French Bulldogs

It was February 24 of this year dogwalker Ryan Fischer was walking Lady Gaga’s three French Bulldogs in their neighborhood when he was shot and robbed of 2 of the dogs at around 9:40 p.m.

Authorities later arrested and charged 5 different people in the dognapping and robbery; 18-year-old James Jackson, 19-year-old Jaylin White, 27-year-old Lafayette Whaley, 40-year-old Harold White, and 50-year-old Jennifer McBride.

The dogs were later returned to Lady Gaga, and as for Ryan, he was hospitalized with extensive injuries, but he did survive.

Lady Gaga took to her Instagram account to praise Ryan after he was brutally attacked. “I continue to love you, Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family,” she said.

“You’re forever a hero.”

After Ryan recovered enough to leave the hospital, he decided that he needed to stop working as a dog walker and take a road trip across the country to help his wellbeing.

“All that time spent reclaiming my body, I now needed to be equally devoted to strengthening my emotional and mental health,” Ryan wrote on a GoFundMe page.

“Having that understanding helped me frame what I need from the rest of this sabbatical: getting a van and exploring this country while seeking out communities that support the process of growing from trauma.”

Ryan created a GoFundMe page to help him raise enough money ($40,000) so he can complete his cross-country journey.

He’s planning on traveling across America for 6 months, and he’s about 2 months into his trip so far.

Many people on the internet have been left wondering why Lady Gaga has not stepped up to help him financially considering he almost lost his life walking her dogs.

Here are some of the comments people left on Ryan’s GoFundMe page:

“This is money I would have probably used to buy Gaga’s next album, but now, she is dead to me. Good luck Ryan, on your travels and recovery!”

“Her name is STEFANI JOANNE ANGELINA GERMANOTTA. SHE has her dogs. Did SHE ever pay the reward that was offered? SHE was not shot. SHE did not have portions of HER lung removed. SHE is not suffering from PTSD. Let’s get real and stop referring to her using that ridiculous stage name. I hope someone steps up and offers Ryan an amazing job and a peaceful place to call home.”

“I wish you the best on your journey to self-healing. I’m sorry that you weren’t given the support you needed and deserved. Any person that tries to save animals is a good person in my book. I hope things work out for you.”

“I am betting that many people making the donations are living paycheck to paycheck. Interesting that these are the people who are stepping up to help a person in crisis. It’s nothing but unconscionable that the owner WHO HAS HER DOGS BACK is conveniently oblivious to her former dog walker’s needs. He needs and DESERVES help. Not to mention a very GENEROUS reward for his attempts to prevent HER pets from being stolen. Maybe she could pass on buying a few pairs of shoes this week and do the right thing. She has the money but probably was absent the day compassion was distributed.”

“You sure are a pet lover. I love you for that. That is an awesome job you did saving the dogs and it is very sad you got treated like crap. I would be giving you anything if you saved my pets. I would love to donate more $$$ for your adventures to find yourself. I am a pregnant mom with children living in my car. If I had more I would give you more. You definitely deserve it and earned it in my book.”
