She Created A Fake Account To Catfish Her Own Boyfriend And Caught Him In The Act While He Was Trying To Cheat On Her

This 28-year-old woman is currently in a relationship with her boyfriend, who is 25. But, she recently decided to conduct a sort of “loyalty test” on him and wound up realizing that he was a cheater.
It all began when, one day, she made a new social media account and pretended to be another woman in their local area – just to see how her boyfriend would react to being hit on by another woman.
“And I pretty much asked to hook up after seeing his profile,” she recalled.
Her boyfriend took the bait, too, and started talking to her fake account. Then, he even asked her to send photos of herself and tried to make plans to meet up that very night!
So, later in the evening, she got in the shower. At the same time, her boyfriend claimed that he was heading “out to buy cigarettes.”
Really, he thought he was going to meet up with the mystery woman, and he even drove to the address that she provided on her fake account!
“He drives straight to the address I had given him to a random apartment complex downtown,” she revealed.
Anyway, after her shower, she eventually texted her boyfriend, asking where he was and why he was taking so long. Surprise, surprise, he just started making all sorts of excuses.
That was when she finally decided to come clean that she was behind the whole thing. More specifically, she went on her “catfish account” and messaged her boyfriend, “Hey, cheater, it’s done. Did you get your cigs?”

Rather than being apologetic or remorseful, though, her boyfriend just absolutely freaked out on her once he realized she had set him up.
He apparently went “ballistic” and accused her of trying to con him – even though she believes she did “literally nothing of the sort.” In her mind, all she did was ask him to hook up.
Regardless, her boyfriend just started crying and screaming and throwing a full-blown tantrum. He also claimed that she was “twisted” and that there was something seriously wrong with her.
“I knew he’d cheat at the first opportunity,” she admitted.
“And I felt like I didn’t do anything wrong.”
Ever since her boyfriend totally flipped out, though, she’s begun having doubts. So now, she can’t help but wonder if catfishing him just to see how he’d react was really the wrong thing to do.
Do you think testing her boyfriend like that was the right way to determine if he was faithful? Now that she’s uncovered he’s willing to cheat, should she break up with him? What would you do?
