When TikToker Courtney (@keepingupwithcourtneycab) was 24 years old, she went out on a date with a 35-year-old man.
She thought that he would be more mature and ready to settle down in a serious relationship since he was older. She made sure to have multiple conversations with him before agreeing to meet up.
He seemed normal, funny, and good-looking. They met up for cocktails for their first date. He finished his first drink fairly quickly, and things got weird almost immediately.
The first red flag was raised when he looked at her and made a remark about how he loved that her face looked so young. When she asked him what he meant, he replied that she just had such a childish face.
He then proceeded to say that he appreciated her for wearing a low-cut top because that would be a requirement of his on every date moving forward. Courtney was not even wearing a low-cut top; it simply had a square neckline.
He also told her that he had already found her social media page and that she needed to take down certain pictures.
He admitted that he had pleasured himself to some of her photos and didn’t want other guys to do the same. In addition, he referred to himself as “daddy.”
When she tried to leave this disaster of a date, he kept insisting that she have one more drink. Even after all that, he had the audacity to ask her for a ride home.
Of course, she refused to let him get in her car. She ghosted him, but he texted her five days later, which she ignored.

In the comments section, several TikTok users described their own bad dating experiences, but Courtney’s still takes the cake!
“Went out with this guy once. He wasn’t super great-looking, so I was hoping he had a great personality. Instead, he began telling me that I’ll have to stop working and be at his beck and call. Yikes,” shared one user.
“Babe, I had a date give me third-degree burns and not take me to the hospital, but THIS IS WORSE,” commented another.
“I had a guy go on for 30 minutes about how all women are toxic and talked all this crap about his ex. Turns out I knew her in college, and we had a tea-sharing session a week after this date,” wrote a third.
