She’s Encouraging Her Pregnant Teen Sister To Not Follow Through With Having Her Baby, Since She Thinks She Will Be The One Caring For The Child
When this twenty-two-year-old woman was younger, her mother left for another man and abandoned her entire family.
So, at just fifteen years old, she was forced to take on the responsibility of raising her five younger siblings– Emma, Jessy, Jacob, Ana, and Alexa.
And understandably, taking care of five children while only being a child herself was a hugely stressful undertaking.
Plus, she was forced to give up many of her own life milestones and goals to ensure that her siblings were taken care of.
“I knew how hard it was for them to be left alone without the support of their mom or dad. So, I did my best to make sure they were not lacking in anything,” she explained.
In fact, she worked numerous jobs so the kids could all participate in any after-school activities they wanted.
She also bought them the nicest personal belongings she could afford so that way the other children would not tease them.
At one point, she was even forced to become a dancer in order to send her older siblings to college.
And while she is not proud of being in that line of work, she recognized that it was what would help get her family out of their financial hole.

“I am ashamed of working there. But, if that is what it takes for my siblings to have a decent life, I can put up with it,” she said.
Recently, though, her seventeen-year-old sister Emma got into a relationship with a new guy, and it has been causing some significant issues.
She believed that Emma’s boyfriend gave off major red flags from the start and did not approve of them dating.
But, after trying to express her perspective to Emma, her sister was not hearing it. So, she had just been hoping that their relationship would be short-lived.
That was until Emma recently delivered a big announcement at the dinner table, though. Apparently, Emma announced that she was pregnant and that she had already made up her mind about keeping the baby.
She was utterly shocked following the announcement and tried to get through to Emma about the realities of delivering and raising a child.
She also underscored how Emma should be focusing on college and making it out of their financial situation to achieve her dreams.
Still, she was not getting through to her sister. And when she asked Emma how she planned on supporting the child, her sister’s response completely shocked her.
“She said, ‘I have you. You will help me with the baby. I will go to college when the time comes, and you will take care of the baby during that time,'” she recalled.
Understandably, she was utterly taken aback and told Emma that there was no way she would be putting herself through raising another child alone again.
Nonetheless, Emma did not understand. Instead, the sister began yelling at her and claiming it was her responsibility to care for the family.
Emma also called her means of making a living “dirty money,” said that if she could raise children before, she could do it again, and called her the worst sister ever.
So now, even though she believes that Emma not following through with her pregnancy would be the best route for her sister’s own future, she is not sure if telling Emma that was totally out of line.
“I just feel like a horrible person,” she admitted.
