One time, TikToker Desarae (@cooking_comedy_chaos) met a guy on a dating app. They dated for a couple of months before he proposed. But then, on their wedding night, she found out that he was cheating on her.
What was supposed to be the happiest day of their lives quickly turned into a chaotic confrontation. The police had to come to de-escalate the situation.
He ended up leaving and sleeping in a Walmart parking lot that night.
Over the next couple of months, she tried to call the reverend who married them to undo the marriage, but it was too late. He wanted to try and work things out, but she knew she could never live with it. The trust had already been destroyed beyond repair.
When she got a job offer in Pittsburgh, she saw it as the perfect way out. She moved from Cleveland, Ohio, to Pittsburgh, leading her husband to believe that they were going to work things out.
After a month of being in Pittsburgh, he came to visit her and her kids. He wanted to move out there to be with her so they could rebuild their relationship.
One morning, she woke up with a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach. Something was telling her to check her husband’s email. She discovered replies from “back pages” on Craigslist about women offering “massages.”
The discovery confirmed that he was still being unfaithful.
“I knew I didn’t want to be with him, but just the fact that he lied to me and was trying to play games again really ticked me off,” said Desarae.

So, while he was sleeping, she changed his email passwords and took screenshots of all the evidence. Then, she logged into his social media account and uploaded all the pictures, explaining that he was cheating on his wife, even after he had begged her to save their relationship.
When he finally woke up, he started blowing up her phone. She was working at the time, so she couldn’t answer his calls. He asked her to take it all down, but she refused to.
“People are about to know who you are, and the lesson in this is that whatever happens in the dark is always going to come to light. Don’t cheat on me,” Desarae concluded.
In the comments section, several TikTok users offered words of support and shared their own relationship horror stories.
“My ex was looking up escorts when I caught him. He said he was looking for Ford Escorts,” commented one user.
“Glad you learned of the cheating sooner rather than later!!” exclaimed another.
“Hubby made Christmas postcards of his ex and sent them to her family,” shared a third.
