If your spouse did something during a shared activity that could have directly caused your death, would you be desperate to file for divorce?

This 32-year-old woman has a husband a year older than her, and last weekend, they went hiking together. They live right in the woods, so they took a walk out there.

There’s a clear-cut path into the trees, and it’s pretty desolate. There is also a mountain along the trail. Anyway, she and her husband were going along a very slim part of the path into the woods, and she was ahead of him, since they had to go single-file.

“We came across a really steep cliff edge, and at the bottom, there were rocks. I went first, and suddenly I felt a hard shove from behind,” she explained.

“I lost my balance and fell forward, but thankfully, there was a huge piece of wood that didn’t roll down as I fell on it. When I turned around and put my hand out for my husband to pull me back, he just stood there, not at all trying to help me, and his expression was like he was annoyed.”

Fear washed over her, and then she heard someone further down the trail behind them yell to be careful. In that exact moment, her husband reached out to her and pulled her back up.

He then asked if she tripped, but his hands on her back caused her to go off the edge. They made their way back home, and while her husband was in the shower, she packed some of her belongings and got out of there.

She alerted her sister and her closest friends to the fact that her husband had literally tried to push her off a cliff, and they are convinced she’s making it up.

They all believe she did fall, and that her husband wasn’t to blame. They even pointed to her clumsiness, but make no mistake: she knows her husband pushed her.

“On top of that, the face he made when I turned around was…terrifying. In that split moment, I was sure he pushed me, and he was about to finish the job,” she added.

“He called me multiple times, and I told him I know he pushed me off, but he keeps denying, telling me I’m insane for even thinking he would do something like that and how he was so shocked in the moment, and that’s why he didn’t immediately pull me back…”

“I think that the only reason he didn’t push me down further was the random hunter who heard me scream and came to see what was going on. I don’t think I’m being unreasonable at all, and I feel really invalidated by people I told about this.”

She doesn’t want to see her husband ever again, and she’s quickly filing for divorce. Her husband has called her nonstop to apologize and say he didn’t do anything to her, but she’s not buying his story.

She’s left wondering if she’s being a drama queen, as her loved ones seem to believe.

Um, she isn’t being dramatic enough about this! I can’t believe her sister and her friends are so dismissive of her, but I guess it’s hard to realize someone who is supposed to love you could be a cold-blooded killer.

She should report what happened to the police and file for a restraining order on top of the divorce. She’s lucky that hunter was right behind them, because I’m convinced that man is the only reason she’s still alive.
