I think that so much energy goes into a person that it’s possible to stick around after your death. Do you believe in that, too?

This woman works in a hospital, and she recently had a paranormal experience with a deceased coworker that left her with chills. She’s employed as a nurse and has held the same job for several years.

She works closely with the radiology department at her hospital in order to get X-rays for her patients, and she had an older male coworker in that department who was lovely and sweet. While they weren’t exactly friends, she would always chit-chat with him when they ran into each other at work.

“Well, anyway, around the time this happened in December, I had a few exciting things happening in my personal life and was just mentally all over the place at work,” she explained.

“It’s also not uncommon to go long periods without seeing coworkers because of crazy hospital schedules. So on this day in particular, I was very busy at work and was rushing to the medication room next to where the X-ray machine is stored.”

“When I see my coworker fidgeting with the X-ray machine, trying to unlock it, and because I was so busy, I was not planning on making small talk. I was going to just enter the med room when something told me, ‘Say hi to him.'”

Well, she acknowledged him, asked how he was doing, and said she hadn’t seen him around in quite some time. Her coworker brightly responded that he was doing great before wanting to know how she was.

She told her coworker she was exhausted but was heading off on vacation for a couple of weeks and was thrilled about it. They both said it was nice to see one another and exchanged a couple more pleasantries.

She then walked into the med room and was there for all of two minutes. When she walked back out, her coworker was no longer near the X-ray machine.

One month later, she was speaking to one of the other nurses about a doctor who had passed away recently. That nurse said they had lost someone else, too.

Puzzled, she questioned the nurse about that, and she revealed that the coworker she had spoken to in December had died.

“She then describes the older coworker I make small talk with, and I am so devastated. I was under the impression he maybe passed while I was on my vacation,” she added.

“When she drops this absolute bomb on me… she pulls up his GoFundMe/obituary that states he had actually died 4 months before in August. I start absolutely freaking out because I immediately recalled that exact encounter with him IN DECEMBER!!”

“I KNOW I saw and spoke to him in December because it was right before my vacation, how could he possibly have passed away in August? So, unfortunately, this coworker had a tragic and unexpected death. So heartbreaking. Just don’t know what to make of this experience.”

She knows she encountered her coworker’s ghost. She’s not sure what else to say, but she’s thoroughly unsettled.

What do you think of that?
