Recently, TikToker @agirlexploring discovered that her boyfriend of five years has been cheating on her for the last 18 months. He spilled the truth during a phone call.

They had been discussing how he did not let her know his plans with friends ahead of time and how he could be better about that.

Her boyfriend, Marc, apologized for being selfish and sabotaging their relationship. He just kept going on and on in a way that she felt was a little dramatic for the situation.

But she soon found out why he was behaving that way. Ten minutes later, he revealed that he had been having an affair. Of course, she had many questions about it.

“Apparently, for the last 18 months of our five-year relationship, he has been talking to and hanging out with and having relations with someone from Hinge, which is crazy to me because I just never thought he would be capable of that,” said @agirlexploring.

“Like, maintaining two long-term relationships over that period is just insanity to me.”

Upon reflection, she realized that he may not have been as busy with his finance job as he had claimed. Also, over New Year’s, he told her that he was going on a last-minute boys’ trip.

He has recently been hanging out with his friends more, and she has always encouraged him to maintain his male friendships since they were important for mental health.

However, it was all just an excuse on his part. In reality, he actually went to Vietnam with this other woman during his so-called boys’ trip. She was shocked because he had been texting her the whole time on that trip.

She is still processing the news and hasn’t gotten to the anger stage yet. Mostly, she just feels shocked and happy that she doesn’t have to waste any more time on IVF treatments with a man who betrayed her.

“I have done six or seven rounds,” she said. “I can’t even remember how many of egg freezing, and we have done one hopeful embryo round that we had to cancel…and we were going to start again, like I haven’t been drinking because of it.”

She hopes to find the girl her now ex-boyfriend has been cheating on her with, so they can have a nice, long chat. In the comments section, many TikTok users expressed their sincerest apologies to her for what she is currently going through.

“I absolutely hate this for you. This is so unfair and cruel. I want to encourage you to cherish yourself! Walk away from him for good!” exclaimed one user.

“Cheating should be illegal. And that’s as someone who cheated when I was young, 10 years ago. It’s horrific and cruel and deceptive,” stated another.

“I’m sorry. This almost exact situation happened to me with my boyfriend of six years [and] his coworker. Literally [the] same conversation of me telling him to just let me know his plans each weekend, but the whole time he was cheating,” added a third.
