Her Husband Ate Her Favorite Chocolates, So She Made Him Drive Around Town For Hours In Search Of The Special Flavor
This woman is currently eight and a half months pregnant. So, along with struggling to fit into clothes and tie her shoes, she can also barely drive anymore.
Her husband has also been very busy picking up extra shifts in anticipation of their baby’s arrival. But thankfully, she has not been left stranded at home.
Instead, her mother has been gracious enough to drive her wherever she needs to go. And just last month, they went on one of their mother-daughter excursions.
That time, though, was reportedly extra special– because her mother drove her to her all-time favorite chocolate store so she could stock up on all of her favorites.
“The store has dozens of flavors of chocolate individually wrapped in colorful foil so you can tell the flavors,” she explained. What a pregnancy craving win.
However, over the last month, her chocolate supply has mysteriously dwindled down. And for her, that discovery was truly earth-shattering.
For context, her husband apparently knew what her favorite flavor was. Spoiler alert: it’s stracciatella.
And after she first stocked up on the chocolates, basically half of the bag was stracciatella– which she could tell by the colored foil.
Now, though, the bag was pretty evenly mixed between stracciatella and the other flavors, and she had just figured that the dwindling supply was only due to her own munching.

But, just last night, she learned that her husband had also been cashing in on her chocolate store run.
It all began just last night after her husband got home from work. First, they had dinner together. Then, they decided to sit on the couch and watch some TV together afterward.
And at that point, she asked her husband if he could grab two of her chocolates from the bag in the kitchen.
Her husband did it– no questions asked– and also grabbed a couple for himself, which she did not care about.
But then, after they shared a kiss, she could taste what flavor her husband had eaten.
“He came back to the couch with chocolate in his mouth. And when he kissed me, I knew what flavor he had taken. He admitted he took the stracciatella ones– my favorite,” she recalled.
This immediately made her pretty upset; meanwhile, her husband tried to say that it was no big deal. He also pointed out how she could just go back to the store with her mom to get some more.
Unfortunately, though, she claims that while the chocolate company sells their chocolates everywhere, the stracciatella flavor is only carried at that specific chocolate store– which is about an hour’s drive away from her house.
So, she did not get over her husband’s stracciatella sweet tooth easily and actually just pressed him further about his chocolate-eating habits.
“I asked if he had been eating that flavor a lot, and his face told me everything I needed to know,” she revealed. Yikes.
If you could not have guessed it, she ended up freaking out and screaming at her husband for eating her chocolates.
So afterward, her husband immediately left the house and started running all over town in search of the sweets. He hit a few drugstores and a couple of grocery stores. But they all told him that they did not carry her favorite flavor.
This forced him to drive an hour out of town to go to that specific candy store and purchase the stracciatella chocolates. Finally, he drove home afterward and delivered them to her.
While her husband was out, though, she called her mom to complain about what had happened. And apparently, her mother told her she needed to calm down because her pregnancy hormones were making her crazy.
So, once her husband eventually got home, she ended up apologizing. But he was still pretty grumpy– especially because he had to drive around for hours just to find some chocolate.
Regardless, she still believes that her husband should have known better than to eat her favorite flavor. But, with all of the pushback, she has been left wondering if forcing her husband to replace the chocolates last night was a jerky thing to do.
Do you think her husband intentionally meant to upset her? Is this perhaps a case of pregnancy-induced emotions? What would you have done if you had been in her shoes?
