She Told Her Father And Stepmom That They Were “Truly Horrible People” After They “Planned” To Take Custody Of Her Half-Sister Away From Her Ex-Stepmom
When this 17-year-old girl was just 3, her mother lost full custody. So, she grew up living with her father and his wife at the time– who is now her ex-stepmom.
She claims that her ex-stepmom was always really great to her and helped her out whenever she was in trouble.
But, once her father and his ex-wife had a daughter– her half-sister– about six years ago, everything went downhill.
After her half-sister was born, her ex-stepmom started suffering from postpartum depression. At that same time, it came out that her father had been cheating with a coworker.
So, her ex-stepmom wound up having a mental breakdown and fleeing the country with her half-sister.
Then, after her ex-stepmom returned home about a week later, her father went to court in pursuit of full custody of her half-sister.
Now, she believes that her father’s ex-wife would have been granted split custody if the court had not found a large burn on her half-sister’s arm.
This, along with mental health and financial issues, caused her ex-stepmom to only be granted weekly visitation rights.

Then, not even one week after the case was settled, her father’s mistress moved into her home and reportedly began “running” her house.
According to her, her father’s mistress– who is now her current stepmom– never liked her.
Her father’s mistress has made some really mean comments about her appearance, which has really impacted her in a negative way.
“This really affected my self-esteem and caused me to really hate myself,” she said.
At the same time, her father’s mistress swooped in to care for her half-sister– who began calling the mistress “mommy” and her ex-stepmom “daddy’s friend.”
So, obviously, her ex-stepmom– who is her half-sister’s real mother– was devastated.
To make matters worse, her father’s mistress asked to adopt her half-sister and “be her real mom” in front of their whole family during her half-sister’s sixth birthday party.
“My half-sister cried in tears of happiness, and my dad gave them a big hug, and they all cried tears of joy. But I was excluded,” she recalled.
Then, the next day, she and her father’s mistress dropped her half-sister off to visit her ex-stepmom for a few hours.
And during the drop-off, she claimed that the mistress purposefully yelled, “Mommy can’t wait to adopt you!” very loudly.
At that point, her ex-stepmom was obviously confused and asked what that meant. So, her dad wound up revealing how his mistress would be legally adopting her half-sister and becoming “her real mom.”
Now, she was in the car during that conversation, but she could clearly hear her ex-stepmom screaming at her father and his mistress.
Shockingly, though, the situation only became more dramatic later that evening.
Apparently, her father’s mistress’ mom went over for dinner that night. And while everyone was eating, her father explained what had happened with her ex-stepmom earlier in the afternoon.
Then, her father and his mistress apparently started making jokes about how her ex-stepmom was “crazy.” They also made a remark about how their “plan had worked.”
Obviously, she was confused and inquired about what plan. And at that point, her father revealed how, all along, they planned to raise her half-sister as their own in order to get full custody because her father’s mistress could not have children of her own.
To say she was appalled by that was an understatement, and she wound up screaming at her father and his mistress.
First, she called them insane and truly horrible people. Then, after her father’s mistress tried to claim she “wouldn’t understand,” she apparently went off on them.
Afterward, her father ultimately sent her to her room. And on her way there, she ran into her half-sister– who told her, “don’t scream at mommy.”
“So I called her a dumb brat and said she would never be my sister and then pushed past her,” she explained.
Then, a few minutes later, she heard her half-sister crying in her room– which caused her father to storm in, tell her that she was grounded, and instruct her to apologize to both his mistress and her half-sister.
Now, at the time, she was furious. But, since she has had time to calm down and process the whole situation, she is starting to feel a bit bad for yelling at everyone.
So, she has been left wondering whether telling her father and his mistress that they were “truly horrible people” made her a total jerk or not.
Can you believe her father and his mistress had that “plan?” Did she have a right to be furious and yell at them? Or could she have handled the situation better?
