When TikToker Stephany (@stephanys180) was around 15 years old, her dad cheated on her mom with her cousin. At the time, her parents had just bought a brand-new, two-story house.
Her mom needed more help around the house, so they decided to bring Stephany’s cousin from Mexico to the United States.
So, Stephany’s cousin was going to act as a live-in nanny. Her cousin had been married before, but her husband kicked her out after finding out she was cheating on him with his brother. She was homeless then, so her grandmother and aunt in Mexico took her in.
Stephany’s mom called them, wanting her cousin to come work as a nanny. Stephany’s aunt didn’t think it was a good idea because her cousin had a reputation for sleeping around.
Her mom ignored the warning and sent money to her cousin to make the trip across the border. She picked her up and brought her back home to Texas in December.
Stephany remembers her cousin standing in the middle of their living room, eyes wide. She is pretty sure that her cousin thought they were wealthy and was already plotting to sleep with her dad.
“I looked her up and down; I immediately turned around, and I told my mom I don’t like her…I kept telling them I didn’t want her here,” recalled Stephany.
Around April, her dad took them on a spontaneous trip to Phoenix, Arizona, which was odd because he didn’t usually like to travel.
Not even 24 hours later, he returned to Texas. They stayed in Phoenix for a week without him. Her dad had to come back and get them because her school kept calling, wondering where she was.

On the ride home, Stephany and her siblings slept in the car. She woke up in the middle of the night to her parents in a heated argument. She started crying because she had never heard her parents arguing in front of her before.
When they got home, Stephany saw that some of the stuff in her room had been moved, obviously by her cousin. She got mad and yelled at her cousin.
Her dad slapped her for being disrespectful and didn’t let her have any dinner. She was confused as to why her dad was defending her cousin so much.
At one point, her cousin started dating a guy who worked for her dad’s roofing company, which made her dad really mad. One day, Stephany got up late for school and missed the bus.
She went downstairs to tell her dad and saw him and her cousin sitting way too close to each other. When her dad realized she was there, he was enraged.
Then, they started noticing that her mom would automatically knock out within 30 minutes of drinking her nightly coffee, and it was hard to wake her back up. It turned out that her cousin was putting sleeping pills in the coffee.
Eventually, her cousin got pregnant. Stephany’s mom was excited for her, thinking that it was the roofing guy’s baby. Stephany’s dad was shocked.
They all started treating Stephany like she was the nanny. When her aunt found out about the pregnancy, she came to visit. She told her aunt that something wasn’t right, and after observing for a while, her aunt agreed.
She forced Stephany’s cousin to return to Mexico with her. On the bus ride back, she spilled all her secrets, admitting that she had been sleeping with Stephany’s dad the whole time.
