His Girlfriend Is Currently A Surrogate For Her Sister But Keeps Eating All Of His Food Whenever She Comes Over, So He Asked Her To Either Replenish It Or Pay Him For It

This twenty-six-year-old guy has been dating his girlfriend, who is twenty-nine, for about two years now.

Before they ever met, though, his girlfriend apparently planned to help out her sister and her sister’s husband by being a surrogate for their pregnancy.

But, if you could not have guessed it, the global COVID-19 pandemic obviously got in the way and slowed down that entire process.

So, his girlfriend only recently became pregnant for them and has since been staying primarily with her sister and her sister’s husband.

Now, he and his girlfriend did talk about how this whole arrangement was going to work before they started dating– since she already knew this was the plan to start her sister’s family.

However, now that the plan is actually in motion, he is having some serious issues with his girlfriend’s behavior.

It all stems back to the fact that even though his girlfriend spends most of her time at her sister’s house, she still goes to his house whenever she is free.

“And it’s not so bad, but either she raids my kitchen, or she complains nothing looks good and wants me to keep some of her for-sure cravings on hand,” he said.

So he started to get a little annoyed by that, but he did not say anything, and the situation was fine for a while. Well, that was until his parents recently went to visit him.

And during his parent’s trip, they asked if he wanted them to pick up anything special for him on their way.

At that moment, he realized his parents were going to be passing by one of his favorite restaurants, so he asked that they pick up one of his favorite meals.

Anyway, his parents eventually showed up, and they had a great visit together. He only ate a little bit of the meal they brought him, though, since he was not super hungry at the time. So, he decided to package up the rest, stick it in the fridge, and save most of it for dinner later that evening.

However, his girlfriend ended up coming over shortly after his parents headed out. And soon after she arrived, he claimed that she got hungry and wanted a snack.

So, she went into his kitchen, found the container filled with his leftovers, and apparently asked if she could have “some” of it.

He ended up saying yes, so his girlfriend grabbed a plate and started to dig in. And according to him, she did not take just “some” of his food.

“She took all of it and put all kinds of stuff on it, so we could not even share,” he explained.

In turn, he got pretty frustrated and pointed out how his girlfriend had, in his eyes, basically ruined and eaten everything that he intended to eat for dinner.

So, he ended up asking his girlfriend to do one of two things: either send him money so he could go and purchase another meal from the restaurant or make the trip herself to pick him up another order of food.

His girlfriend just did not want to drive that far to get him more food, though. And honestly, she did not think she should have to pay him for it, either.

To be frank, though, hearing that kind of made him blow up on his girlfriend.

“I told her that she should [pay for it] because it would just be nice of her to do– since I get that she gets cravings, but it is not like she is pregnant with my kid or we live together,” he vented.

His girlfriend was not happy after he said that, though, and she ended up leaving his apartment right afterward.

According to him, she also left half of his favorite meal uneaten, and he refused to touch the rest because of all the stuff his girlfriend had put on it.

Although, the drama was still not over– because just a few hours later, he received a call from his mother. And apparently, his girlfriend had texted his mom and told her about everything that had happened.

So, if you could not have guessed, his mom gave him an “earful” and told him that he had absolutely no idea what his girlfriend was going through while pregnant. His mom also instructed him to be more supportive and just let things– like food– go.

Quite frankly, though, the situation does not sit right with him, and he still kind of feels like he had a right to ask his girlfriend to either replenish or repay him for the food.

But, at the same time, his mom’s comments have pushed him to question whether or not doing so made him a total jerk to his pregnant girlfriend.

Does it make sense why he doesn’t want his kitchen to be raided all the time if they do not live together or not? What about his girlfriend’s perspective– if you were in her shoes, how would you feel? Do you think they need to work out a better arrangement for grocery purchases? How else can they reconcile this situation together?
